Background / History

Lin Hai became Xiao Yan’s uncle after the All-Heavens Supreme System bound to him. The system granted him Peak Spirit Saint cultivation, the Nine Nether Flame God Art, and the Great Heaven Creation Palm as a beginner reward. 1

He intervened when the Yunlan Sect attempted to break Xiao Yan’s engagement, effortlessly defeating Ge Ye and driving him and Nalan Yanran from the Xiao Clan. He then uncovered the cause of Xiao Yan’s lost Dou Qi: Yao Chen’s soul had been absorbing it through the black ring.
