Background

Yohei graduated from the Ninja Academy into Team 8 alongside Taiichi Matsushita and Saori Furukawa under Jonin Masasuke Yamaguchi. He introduced himself as an Uchiha who wished to become Hokage, was skilled in Fire Style, and liked Three-Color Dango. 34

He initially approached missions with enthusiasm and bravado. During Team 8’s first exposure to death, however, he was shaken merely by seeing corpses; after Taiichi encouraged him, Yohei chose to help Saori clean up the battlefield rather than retreat from the experience. 45
