History
A arrives with Killer B for a Cloud Village operation to seize supplies. He directs raids on mines in the Land of Wind and sends an elite squad to carry their spoils back to the ships. During a later interception by Rasa’s squad, A takes a direct hit from a gold-dust attack while rescuing a trapped comrade. His Lightning Release Chakra Armor prevents a worse injury, but his left arm is temporarily left bruised and unusable 234 243.
A and Killer B later fight Konoha forces, including Minato Namikaze and Taichi Matsushita. Minato’s space-time ninjutsu prevents A from landing an effective attack; A orders a companion to warn their ship to leave without them. After further setbacks, A confronts his officers over Cloud’s retreat into the Land of Hot Water and listens to evidence that Konoha’s wounded shinobi are returning to battle unusually quickly 250 251 255.
The AB Duo return to the battlefield during another Cloud offensive. A later learns that his father, the Third Raikage, died from exhaustion after fighting for three days and nights to cover an elite force’s retreat 277 357. As Fourth Raikage, A receives intelligence about the Nine-Tails breaking free in Konoha and, later, a report concerning a clan from the moon 409 450.
