Time-Space Travel

A fierce flash of purple light suddenly blazed across the sky. Worried about Naruto and Yamato, Sai hurriedly flew down with Sakura.

"Naruto!" Sakura cried out in worry as she jumped off the bird formed from ink. Seeing the five people before her safe and sound, she finally relaxed.

Wait, why were there five people?

"Sakura! You'd never guess where we just went. It was incredible! Let me tell you..." Seeing Sakura descend from the sky, Naruto realized he was back and excitedly began to speak.

As he went on, Naruto caught sight of Genichi and the other two, who stood there calmly.

"What's going on? Could it be that I haven't actually come back yet?" Naruto's brain started to short-circuit.

Genichi didn't explain. He simply used Magnet Release to fly away with Hana and Mikoto, leaving behind a parting remark:

"Naruto, come visit us in Konoha sometime."

Sai saw that all three were wearing Konoha Forehead Protectors and didn't stop them. He simply asked, "Yamato-senpai, who are they?"

"It's a long story, Sai." Yamato didn't know where to begin.

Just moments ago, Genichi had sealed Dragon Vein energy inside each of the three of them. They had followed the disturbance caused by Naruto and Yamato's return to their original world and arrived in this Ninja World.

That way, the three of them could return to their own Ninja World without trouble once the Dragon Vein energy inside them ran out or they deliberately undid the seals. They had all their options covered, whether they wanted to advance or retreat.

They had also left right away because they didn't know what state Old Man Six Paths was in, or whether he could detect them through the Asura Chakra inside Naruto.

There was no need to make trouble. They should take care of their business first and keep a low profile as they entered this Ninja World.

High in the sky, Hana and Mikoto recovered from the shock of traveling through time and space. They thought back to how Genichi had remained in control throughout the journey.

Mikoto asked, "Genichi, did you know about this all along? About traveling through time and space..."

"Ahem. That's right. The White Snake Sage told me about it." Genichi had no way to explain, so he fell back on the all-purpose White Snake Sage, then continued:

"She also told me that when the Sage of Six Paths' brother went to the moon, he left a space passage connecting the Ninja World and the moon in a lake inside a cave in the Land of the Moon. We'll find that passage now. The key to undoing the Caged Bird Seal lies on the moon."

"Why is it always the White Snake Sage who told you?" The two women didn't believe him, yet they had no choice but to. Hana in particular felt conflicted and uneasy as she thought of the freedom that was finally within reach.

The three of them bought a map of the Ninja World in a nearby town and headed straight for the Land of the Moon.

The Land of the Moon was small. With Genichi's Sage Mode sensory abilities and Hana's Byakugan working together, they soon found their destination.

"How incredible. My Byakugan can't see through the lake's surface," Hana exclaimed.

"The blue water is so beautiful. I never imagined there'd be another world beneath it. Can we just go straight down?" Mikoto tilted her head, puzzled.

Genichi looked up through the ring of rock at the full moon in the sky, which seemed to glow with a faint green light. Then he spoke:

"That's right. Let's go. But there's a summoning beast down there that's constantly casting genjutsu, so be a little careful."

He wasn't actually worried. Ordinary genjutsu worked by using Yin Release Chakra to disrupt the flow of chakra in the target's body, creating illusions or even causing direct harm.

But the quality of Genichi's Senjutsu Chakra far surpassed that of an ordinary ninja. Even if the genjutsu's obstacles were cleverly designed and sturdy enough to stop an ordinary truck, could they stop Genichi's Hundred-Ton King?

Why hadn't Madara Uchiha used genjutsu against Hashirama Senju? Was it because he didn't want to?

On their guard, the three dodged all the bubbles and reached the bottom of the lake.

"So this is the giant crab you were talking about, Genichi. It casts genjutsu by blowing bubbles. You don't see that every day." The genjutsu master Mikoto Uchiha offered her assessment.

"Do you like it, Mikoto? There's one exactly like it in our world, too. If you like it, we can catch it and make it your summoning beast."

Mikoto shook her head. She preferred cute cats. Then she asked, "If both Ninja Worlds have this passage, why didn't we come through from our side?"

Hana also looked at him curiously. Genichi simply shook his head and explained, "We need the right place and the right time."

Back in the past, in Konoha's 46th year, the branch family had yet to rebel, and neither of the two Giant Tenseigan had been created. Launching a direct assault wouldn't offer enough benefits, and could even lead to unexpected trouble.

He was confident in his strength, but what if some unknown Otsutsuki started talking about family and bonds, recalled a thousand-year-old mission passed down through the generations, and pulled out some trump card he'd never even heard of?

What if they recklessly used a life-for-life technique and controlled [Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei] to launch [Tengai Shinsei] at the Ninja World? Genichi would be screwed.

After the Fourth Shinobi World War, Toneri awakened the blue Tenseigan by transplanting Hanabi's eyes. Combined with the Giant Tenseigan, he could absorb all of Naruto's chakra in an instant, leaving him unable to fight back.

Just thinking about it gave Genichi a headache. What was this nonsense about chakra being drained if anyone without Hamura's bloodline touched it? If they couldn't handle it, they shouldn't play.

Only now was the best time. There were not only two fully formed Tenseigan, but also just one blind Toneri guarding them.

The scene shifted, and the three of them passed through the space passage.

The moon, which served as the vessel that sealed Kaguya, had floated peacefully above the Ninja World for over a thousand years. From the outside, it looked pale, bleak, and deserted.

"Is the moon really this prosperous?" Mikoto asked in astonishment, gazing at the ornate, classical palaces around them.

"And there's a sun in the sky, too. Are we sure this isn't the Ninja World?" Hana looked puzzled as well.

Genichi explained confidently, "Because we're inside the moon. That thing up there is an artificial light source, too. Let's go. We shouldn't keep the owner waiting."

His plan was to capture Toneri first. If he could get more advanced Sealing Jutsu and information related to the Byakugan, then it would be best to remove the "Caged Bird Seal" directly.

If that didn't work, he would seal the Giant Tenseigan inside Hana, using the Tailed Beast and Jinchūriki method. With the power of their shared origin, they could improve her ocular abilities and slowly wear the seal down over time.

If time-space travel could bring their clothes along, then surely a Tenseigan sealed inside the body would be fine, too.

As he spoke, Genichi prepared to use Magnet Release to fly with Mikoto and Hana toward the most magnificent castle in the center.

"Travelers from another world, might I ask you to stay a moment?"

A slow, yet magnetic voice sounded from behind them. The three turned around.

The man had pale blue hair and horns growing from his head. He wore a white robe patterned with six tomoe, and black Truth-Seeking Orbs floated behind him. His expression was cold, and his mysterious appearance radiated an extraordinary majesty.

He seemed to exist, yet also seemed no more than an apparition. The one who had appeared was none other than Hamura Otsutsuki.
