"Zilong, where do you think the Dragon Ball we're looking for this time will be?" Bulma asked curiously as they walked along the path.
Hearing this, Young Goku suddenly interjected: "What is a Dragon Ball? Is it something delicious?"
His face was filled with innocence and curiosity.
Bulma couldn't help but laugh out loud. She turned to look at Young Goku and shook her head gently: "Goku, a Dragon Ball isn't something you eat. It's a special item that possesses incredible power!"
After saying this, Bulma took out the Dragon Ball she had on her to show Young Goku.
However, Young Goku suddenly glared at Bulma in anger and shouted: "Give my grandpa back! You thief!"
Bulma was startled by Young Goku's sudden accusation and quickly explained: "Hey, don't talk nonsense, little guy! I found this Dragon Ball myself; it's not your grandpa!"
Seeing the atmosphere between the two growing increasingly tense, Zhou Zilong quickly stepped in to smooth things over: "Goku, trust me. Bulma really found this orb herself. It has nothing to do with your grandpa. Your grandpa is still at home waiting for you safe and sound!"
Young Goku looked at Zilong with half-belief, then finally nodded: "I'll believe you for now, but if I go home and find my grandpa is gone, even if I can't beat you, I'll keep fighting you until I do!"
Zilong smiled and patted Young Goku on the shoulder: "Don't worry, I guarantee your grandpa is still at home. Now, let's go to your house together and see!"
On the way to Goku's house, Bulma couldn't help but ask Zilong about the strange connection between Young Goku and the Dragon Ball.
Zhou Zilong rubbed Bulma's head, then leaned in and whispered: "I'm using a technique I learned called Telepathy to talk to you, because some things aren't suitable for Goku to know just yet!"
Bulma nodded to show she understood. At that moment, a voice that only Bulma could hear began to ring out, and she listened intently while continuing to walk toward Goku's house with Zhou Zilong.
Before they knew it, they had arrived at Goku's doorstep. Young Goku couldn't wait to push the door open and run inside. Seeing the Four-Star Ball sitting there safe and sound, he let out a long sigh of relief.
Bulma and Zilong followed closely behind. Seeing Goku hugging the Four-Star Ball tightly, refusing to let go, they couldn't help but exchange a smile. This little guy really was cute!
"I'm sorry, I misunderstood you," Young Goku said, looking back at Bulma with an apologetic expression.
Bulma smiled and shook her head, indicating she didn't mind.
"How do you have so many grandpas?" Young Goku asked curiously again.
"I already told you, I found it myself," Bulma replied helplessly.
At this moment, Zhou Zilong walked up to Young Goku and said with a smile: "Goku, have you ever thought about leaving this mountain to go see the outside world?"
Young Goku was stunned for a moment, then replied: "I originally intended to live on this mountain until I grew old, but I didn't expect you to be so skilled, Zilong. I think it's time I went out to see if there are other experts like you!"
Zhou Zilong laughed heartily upon hearing this, patted Young Goku on the shoulder, and said: "Good! Then why don't you come along with us for a while!"
A glimmer of excitement flashed in Young Goku's eyes, and he nodded.
The day after they set off, the first rays of the morning sun spilled over the quiet mountain forest, and the birds began to sing joyfully, as if welcoming a new day.
At six o'clock sharp, Young Goku rose from his bed on time. He rubbed his sleepy eyes, washed up casually, and began his morning training. He took a deep breath, crouched down, and wrapped his arms tightly around a rock that was slightly larger than himself. His eyes flashed with a firm light, as if he were concentrating all his strength into this single moment.
With a low growl from Young Goku, he stood up abruptly, lifting the rock high above his head. The massive stone seemed to become a trivial toy in the air, moving at will under Young Goku's control. Then, Young Goku pressed his hands down hard against the rock; under his exertion, the large stone began to crack, eventually shattering into countless small fragments that scattered across the ground.
A satisfied smile appeared on Young Goku's face. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and prepared to find his next target for training. However, just then, he suddenly discovered an unusual "rock."
"Wait a second, I'm not a rock!" After Young Goku lifted a brownish object, a voice rang out.
It turned out that what Young Goku was holding was a turtle-like animal with a brownish back, a head with some black, spot-like markings, and a pale belly—something Zhou Zilong would have recognized immediately.
"Oh, it's a turtle. I'll go ask Zilong how to handle this!" After taking a look, Young Goku said while holding the creature.
"Please, spare me!" The turtle, thinking it was about to meet a grim fate as it saw Young Goku carrying it toward the house, spoke up.
"Master Sea Turtle, why are you here?" Zhou Zilong, who had come out to call Goku for breakfast, asked upon seeing Master Roshi's Sea Turtle.
"It's you, Zilong. You see, I got lost while I was on shore picking mushrooms. It's been a year!" the Sea Turtle replied to Zhou Zilong.
"I see. But Master Sea Turtle, you're heading in the wrong direction; this isn't the way to the beach!" Zhou Zilong explained the situation to the turtle.
"Is that so? Could you give me some salt water first? Of course, it would be even better if there were some seaweed in the salt water," the Sea Turtle added.
