At seven ten in the morning, the city was just waking up. Students streamed along the roads to school, including Iris and her new best friend, the genius scientist Bulma.
Iris stood before Capsule Corporation's iconic silver gate, her eyes shining with curiosity about the unknown world and affection for her new friendship.
Yet on this peaceful, beautiful morning, an unseen undercurrent was quietly gathering strength.
At a street corner not far away, two figures lurked in the shadows. They were subordinates in Kasang's group, members of the Scale-Head Race from a distant planet: Sada and his companion.
Their mission was to kidnap several young women from West City as part of their wicked plan. They intended to use the women as "breeding tools," producing nourishment to help the powerful Scale-Head Aliens grow stronger and allowing their race to dominate the universe in the future.
"Sada, how long do you think the people we take this time will keep us entertained?" one of them asked, his tone teasing. His eyes gleamed with impatience and desire for the "prey" they were about to capture.
Sada shook his head slightly, his gaze cold. "I don't know. It depends on what Lord Kasang's superior decides. But don't forget, our mission concerns the future of the Scale-Head Race. We can't afford to fail, so we have to be careful!"
"Exactly. The ones we kidnap and bring back are all treasures, so we'll have to 'take good care' of them," the other replied with a laugh, his words betraying his disregard for life. "Honestly, the women on this planet are pretty great. Of all the races I've encountered, they're the most delicate!"
"Hm? Those two women at the gate look pretty good. Our data analyzer says this one has the potential to produce perfect-grade nourishment. Should we kidnap her in a moment?" Sada said, having noticed Bulma and Iris.
The two men exchanged a knowing look, then steadied their breathing and prepared to approach the Capsule Corporation gate.
But their conversation hadn't escaped another pair of sharp ears. Xiujie, one of Zhou Zilong's subordinates, had heard everything. His heart clenched as he realized that Bulma and her friend Iris were likely the targets of the kidnapping.
"Kidnapping? They've already set their sights on our future boss's wife!" Xiujie exclaimed inwardly. He quickly signaled his companions. "Hurry! We have to act now and protect them!"
At Xiujie's command, three equally skilled bodyguards quickly assembled. Like ghosts, they moved through the streets and silently approached Capsule Corporation.
Bulma and her friend Iris walked out of the company gate arm in arm, their faces bright with anticipation for a new day of exploration. Their plan was simple: head to the famous breakfast shop on the street corner and enjoy a delicious meal to fuel up for the day.
But as the two set off for the breakfast shop, Sada and his companion, already beginning their kidnapping attempt, blocked their way. Four eyes stared fixedly at Iris and Bulma, and an ominous air hung over the street.
"Had enough staring? If you have, then get lost!" Iris had always been straightforward. Facing the sudden threat, she didn't hesitate to warn them.
Sada's smile only grew colder. He had already decided they belonged to him. "Not yet. I'm planning to take you back with me so I can keep looking!" His words were both a taunt and a declaration.
Hearing this, Iris burned with rage. She had loved martial arts since childhood. Though she wasn't as strong as Young Goku or Yamcha, she had still honed herself into a formidable fighter.
Without hesitation, she threw a punch, hoping to teach the unwelcome intruder a lesson.
But against Sada's superhuman speed and strength, Iris's fist seemed to move in slow motion, posing no threat at all.
Sada casually raised a hand and easily blocked her full-strength attack. His nonchalant manner seemed to mock her helplessness.
A contest of speed and strength unfolded on the street. Sada's figure blurred like a phantom, and in the blink of an eye, he had moved behind Iris.
Before Bulma could finish shouting, "Watch your back!" Sada struck Iris precisely on the back of her neck with a chop. She instantly lost consciousness and crumpled to the ground.
Just then, a figure crept closer, a greedy hand about to reach Bulma. At that critical moment, a sharp SMACK! broke the silence.
Xiujie appeared in front of the attacker as swiftly as a leopard. His hands were poised like claws, and his sharp eyes seemed able to see through all evil.
"Watch yourself! You don't get to lay a finger on my future boss's wife!" Xiujie's voice was low and powerful, filled with unquestionable authority. He stood like an unbreakable barrier, shielding Bulma behind him.
Ling, Yuena, and Ali rushed to join them, standing shoulder to shoulder with Xiujie to form a solid defensive line.
Meanwhile, Sada calmly analyzed the four opponents' data using his Power Level Scouter. His eyes held a detached indifference, as if the confrontation were nothing more than a dull game.
"Sada, how strong are these four? Are they worth me taking seriously?" asked his companion, an equally well-equipped warrior, with a hint of amusement.
Sada gave a scornful laugh. "They're all trash. The guy fighting you has a power level of only 300, and the other three are just 270 each. All four together barely break a thousand. But strength isn't just a matter of adding numbers together. They're nowhere near enough to give you a fight!"
His words were a grave insult to Xiujie and the others, and they roused Ali's anger. "Damn it, how dare you look down on us! I'll make him pay for that!" He clenched his fists, his muscles tensing as if he might unleash tremendous power at any moment.
Xiujie, however, remained exceptionally calm. He knew how great the gap in strength was and understood how difficult this fight would be. "From what the boss taught us about sensing ki, it'll be hard for us to beat either of them," he said gravely to his companions. "So, Ling, Yuena, once Ali and I engage them, you two must take the boss's wife and get out of here as quickly as you can. Then notify the boss!"
Hearing this, Bulma felt a warm rush in her heart. She hadn't expected anyone to be willing to risk so much for her in such a dangerous moment. "I can't let you face them alone!"
Xiujie smiled faintly, his eyes full of warmth and resolve. "Miss Bulma, protecting you is our duty. Please trust us. We'll be fine!"
