After spending three days in Ox-King's castle, Zhou Zilong and his companions set off once more, heading toward the unknown distance in search of the seventh mysterious Dragon Ball.
Before leaving, Zhou Zilong exchanged a storage device from Xiao Ling's system shop. It had been transformed into a pendant. He went to Ox-King's room and handed it to him, explaining, "Senior Brother, I found this high-tech item while training. It may look like an ordinary pendant, but it comes with a huge storage space inside. You can store your valuables in it—it's convenient and safe!"
Zhou Zilong had done this because he knew that Ox-King's castle had an unfortunate connection with fire. Some years later, a major fire would break out again, burning many of the castle's valuable possessions. As a result, Ox-King, who had once been quite wealthy, would lose a large portion of his fortune.
So Zhou Zilong wanted to test whether Chi-Chi would still keep reminding Goku to earn money in the future if Ox-King's fortune didn't dwindle.
Ox-King nodded repeatedly, full of admiration. "How amazing! You're so thoughtful, Junior Brother. You even thought to give me such a useful treasure!"
Zhou Zilong waved his hand modestly. "You're too kind, Senior Brother. It was no trouble at all. I hope this pendant makes things easier for you. It's a small token of affection between fellow disciples!"
Ox-King nodded, deeply moved, and carefully hung the pendant around his neck.
Meanwhile, Chi-Chi made a promise with Little Goku, who had climbed into the car: when he grew up, he would marry her. The innocent Little Goku agreed without a second thought.
Once they were on their way again, Yamcha, who had been secretly following them, continued to do so.
Just like in the anime, Zhou Zilong and the others came to a town ruled by a rabbit man. But faced with overwhelming strength, the rabbit's actions were no more effective than an insect trying to stop a chariot.
Before long, Zhou Zilong crushed the rabbit man with his overwhelming power and sent him off to an unknown place to begin a life of hard labor.
During this time, they also met Iris, a wealthy young woman with long purple hair who knew a little martial arts. They had the rabbit man to thank for bringing them together.
Iris had come to the rabbit-ruled town just as she took Bulma's place in the anime and was turned into a carrot. But, just like in the anime, Little Goku successfully rescued Iris from her carrot form with Yamcha's help.
The rabbit man then set his sights on Zhou Zilong and his companions, which led to the tragedy of him being crushed.
After helping restore peace to the town, Iris joined Zhou Zilong and the others in their search for the Dragon Balls. She said she really wanted to see what Shenron looked like.
Yamcha continued to secretly follow them, too. He hoped to use the Dragon Balls to overcome his weakness: he got embarrassed whenever he was around women.
Once they set off again, the group headed toward the location of the final Dragon Ball. Knowing the story, Zhou Zilong knew he was about to run into that unusual trio.
At that moment, inside a castle, blue-skinned Pilaf was in a rage because his subordinate Mai couldn't build a Dragon Radar.
After a great deal of commotion, Pilaf decided it would be better to go after Zhou Zilong and the others directly.
When Zhou Zilong's group had first set out, they had already crossed paths with Pilaf and his gang. Pilaf had accidentally spotted the Dragon Ball Little Goku was carrying, so he had sent a mechanical crow to spy on the group and keep watch over them.
The crow flew in just then and used a special method to tell them that Zhou Zilong and the others were on their way. Pilaf and his gang immediately began making plans to steal the Dragon Balls.
Meanwhile, Oolong was driving in the front row of the car when he and Iris got into an argument.
The argument turned out to be over a pair of panties. Just moments earlier, Iris had opened her backpack to look for something and found a bag of dirty laundry. When she checked, she noticed one of her pairs of panties was missing.
Before Iris could ask about it, innocent, clueless Little Goku immediately said that Oolong had taken them, having witnessed the incident earlier. Iris began scolding Oolong, who responded shamelessly.
Just like in the original story, Oolong hadn't changed his lecherous ways. He still had a peculiar fascination with women's panties. He had once tried to steal Bulma's panties, too, but Zhou Zilong caught him in the act. Zhou Zilong had played a prank on him afterward, making him a little more careful.
After the argument, Oolong kept driving down the road.
After the car had gone some distance, Mai, who had been watching them, picked up a walkie-talkie and said, "King Pilaf, their car just passed marker ten. They're getting closer!"
Pilaf replied over the walkie-talkie, "Good. Proceed as planned!"
Mai answered at once, "Yes!"
Then she spoke into the walkie-talkie again. "Shu, I'm counting on you. Follow the plan!"
"Got it. Leave it to me!" Shu, who had the appearance of a dog, replied from the other end.
Just then, Oolong slammed on the brakes. The reason was that he and Iris had started arguing again. This time, the argument was even fiercer than before, while the three others watched them with varied expressions.
The reason for this argument was even more ridiculous. Iris was becoming more and more convinced that Oolong was a pervert, so she told Bulma to be careful around him. Then she scolded Oolong again, and the two of them fell into another argument.
Inside a machine, Shu saw them arguing and said excitedly, "Great! They're fighting among themselves!"
As he spoke, Shu aimed his scope at the car again.
After their argument ended, Oolong took up his driving duties once more and continued on his way.
Meanwhile, after making a quick prediction, Shu fired a small missile from inside the robot toward the car.
Sensing it, Zhou Zilong wrapped an arm around Bulma's slender waist and used his ki to blast the car door open. He grabbed Oolong, who was still driving, and said, "Get ready to jump! We're under attack!"
With a BANG, the group jumped out of the car. Shortly afterward, the small missile struck the front of the vehicle, setting off a deafening explosion.
With a THUD, the car was caught in the blast, spun through the air, and crashed onto the ground with a tremendous crash.
Meanwhile, the robot Shu was piloting charged toward Zhou Zilong and the others after its attack hit.
