"By the way, Soya, Nappa just suggested that Prince Vegeta join us for a game of Doudou," Carnegie said with a grin as he came over to Soya. "Prince Vegeta agreed. He said he'd play with us."

"I heard about it too!" Raditz chimed in from the side.
"It's true," Vegeta said with a faint smile.
Nappa's face turned red, then white.

The happiest of them all was Raditz.

"Kuri, you're with me," Vegeta said, shooting Raditz a sidelong glance as he addressed Kuri.
Kuri was the weakest member of the group.
As the strongest one there, Vegeta naturally wanted the weakest teammate. That way, he could prevent more casualties.
It wasn't that Vegeta had a kind heart. He was worried that if everyone in the group died and he was left alone, it would be a hassle to handle what came next.
"Thank you... Yes, Prince Vegeta!" Kuri was thrilled. "It's such an honor to team up with you!"
"Hmph. Don't hold me back," Vegeta said coldly.
"Um... Soya, can I team up with you?" Raditz came over, looking at Soya expectantly.
"Sure." Soya nodded.
"Great!" Raditz was ecstatic.
Teaming up with Soya had to be better than teaming up with Nappa, right?

"Got it. I won't tell anyone, don't worry." Raditz was thrilled. He was just about to drink when a thought occurred to him. He held the cup to his lips and asked, "But I never saw you drink this water!"
"I always drink it secretly. You think I'd let you guys see me?" Soya grinned.
"You have a point!" Raditz nodded and, without hesitation, downed the Battle God Water in one go.
Then Raditz silently sensed the changes in his energy.

Raditz's face darkened as he glared at Soya.
