Goku powered up first.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
A powerful energy burst from Goku's body.
While flying to Earth, Goku had sensed Li Feng's terrifying energy. He hadn't dared hold back, powering up to his full strength from the start.
"What?!"
Piccolo was stunned.
He had thought that after a year of training, even if he couldn't match Li Feng, the gap between him and Goku wouldn't be too great.
But this energy was clearly stronger than his own!
"Damn it, even Son Goku has gotten that strong!"
"Bang!"
In the blink of an eye, Li Feng and Goku's fists collided!
"How terrifying!" Goku could clearly feel the immense force behind Li Feng's attack. The impact left his right hand badly numb.
But the Saiyan blood in his veins only burned hotter!

Undaunted, Goku sped up his attacks on Li Feng.

The two kept exchanging blows, their battle powers continually rising.
After more than a year of training, both of them had become far stronger fighters than they had been a year ago.
The intensity of their battle was no less than that of Li Feng's recent fight with Vegeta.

After dozens of exchanges, Li Feng left himself open on purpose.
Goku was caught up in the excitement and went to punch Li Feng in the chest.

But Li Feng used Afterimage Strike first!
He instantly appeared behind Goku and sent him flying with an elbow strike.

Goku immediately fell into a disadvantage, crashing heavily toward the ground.

Whether or not he had a grudge against Saiyans, after Nappa and Vegeta, another giant crater now held a Saiyan.

Krillin and Gohan cried out in worry as they watched.
"Cough, cough. I'm fine."
Goku wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and looked up at Li Feng.
"Li Feng, you're really strong! I'm going to use what I learned in training!"
Goku shouted, "Double Kaio-ken!"
"Ha!"
"Whoosh!"
An astonishing aura burst out around Goku once more!
Only this time, the aura wasn't white. It was dark red.
"What a terrifying aura!"
Krillin felt Goku's energy double in an instant!
"Again!"
Goku launched into the second round.
His battle power had now reached 30,000!
But Li Feng could still block his attacks with ease.
"Thud!"
Li Feng darted aside and kicked Goku in the chest, sending him flying.
Goku slammed into a mountain. The terrifying impact punched through mountain after mountain before he finally crashed into a cliff face, leaving a web of cracks in the rock.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
Goku was already injured from Li Feng's heavy blows, and the strain of Kaio-ken was taking its toll on his body.
But he still refused to admit defeat!
"Hsss—"
Goku gritted his teeth and gathered the dark red aura again.
"Kaio-ken x3!"
Goku was going all out!
The speed unleashed by Kaio-ken instantly brought him in front of Li Feng, and he landed a solid punch.
Seeing that it had worked, Goku immediately increased the speed of his attacks. He had to defeat Li Feng before his body gave out!
At first, Li Feng was caught off guard by Goku's sudden burst of speed.
But after exchanging blows again and again, Li Feng gradually raised his battle power as well.
Their fight shifted from Li Feng being on the back foot, to the two of them being evenly matched, and then to Goku falling behind again.
Red and white auras burst around them, like two tornadoes crashing violently together.
Little by little, Li Feng's battle power surpassed Goku's once more, and his speed increased by another huge margin.
"Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!"
Li Feng's fists crashed down on Goku like iron hammers. Goku could only raise both arms to block, barely managing to defend himself.
"Bang!"
Li Feng drove a knee into Goku, sending him flying.
Seizing the opening, Li Feng pressed his attack.
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The terrifying impacts pulverized the rocks around them.
The mountainside continued to crumble, showing just how fierce their battle had become.
"Ahhh!"
In the end, Goku's strength gave out, and Li Feng kicked him in the back.
"Whoosh!"
Goku shot away like a meteor and crashed into the earth once more.
"Boom!"
Dust billowed as the ground caved in.
"Yah! Kaio-ken x4!"
Goku was badly injured again, but he still refused to give up! Once more, he pushed past his limits!
"Boom!"
An even more powerful aura enveloped him.
Goku knew that only one final move could decide the fight!
"Ka!"
Goku held his hands at his waist and began gathering energy.
Another beam clash? Li Feng thought with delight as he powered up too.
"Me!"
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
Sand and stones swirled through the air as dust billowed everywhere.
The red and white auras swelled.
"Ha!"
Two brilliant blue beams blazed even brighter as terrifying amounts of energy gathered.
"What? These two attacks are even more terrifying than the beams they clashed with Vegeta!" Krillin said, cold sweat running down his face as he stared at their strength.
"How is that possible!" Piccolo was stunned again.
Forget Li Feng—Goku's energy alone was now enough to wipe him out completely!
"Hame!"
Boom!
As they finished gathering energy, the two unleashed their Kamehameha attacks at the same time.
The two powerful blasts collided violently, erupting into a massive wave of energy between them.
The terrain was destroyed in an instant. The energy spilling outward ran rampant, and howling winds swept across the area, forcing everyone watching to raise defensive barriers.
"Yahhh!"
With his body nearing its limit, Goku struggled to hold on while using Kaio-ken x4.
Even so, Goku's Kamehameha was at a disadvantage in the beam struggle, and it looked as though it was about to be pushed back.
"No! I have to go beyond my limits!"
Goku was ready to give everything he had!
"You can't, Goku! Your body won't be able to take it!"
North Kai, far away on King Kai's Planet, had been watching the battle on Earth the entire time.
He knew that even after all his training, Goku's body could only withstand the strain of Kaio-ken x4.
"Kaio-ken x5!"
"Ha!"
Goku roared. His muscles swelled like little hills, his aura grew denser, and it burst out of him like a volcano!
His Kamehameha instantly grew thicker and began pushing back against Li Feng's.
Kaio-ken x5!
This was Goku's full power!
A battle power that surpassed his limits!
75,000!
But Li Feng's full power was 100,000!
Seeing Goku go all out, Li Feng knew he might lose if he didn't use his full strength too!
"Ha!"
The veins bulged in Li Feng's arms as he instantly powered up!
"This ends now!"
"Ha!"
"Boom!"
With Li Feng's furious roar, his Kamehameha grew stronger and completely overwhelmed Goku's this time!

Goku couldn't muster an even stronger Kamehameha. All he could do was let the immense energy engulf him...
