Bulma was as tender as water.

One day, Bulma suggested inviting their friends for a picnic.

Krillin didn't dare to look up.

"Hahahahaha!"

Li Feng and Gohan burst into laughter.

Just then.

"Whoosh!"

A meteorite fell from the sky, crashing into the woods not far from them.

"Boom!"

A massive crater was instantly gouged into the ground, erupting with astonishing heat and sparking a wildfire.

The trees caught fire, the flames spread rapidly, and in a blink, the entire forest turned into a sea of fire.

"What's going on?"

Krillin turned back to find the forest burning.

"Never mind that, let's use our Ki to put out the fire first!"

Li Feng suggested.

Following this, Li Feng, Krillin, and Gohan flew into the air, releasing Ki from their palms to whip up a gale that extinguished the blaze.

Li Feng felt strange; in his memory, nothing much was supposed to happen during this period, and after defeating Vegeta, they should have been heading to Namek.

"Snap!"

After the fire was extinguished, charred, withered branches fell to the ground, and the once-lush forest was reduced to a desolate, chaotic wasteland.

"Oh no, the animals are all homeless now."

Gohan said sadly.

"Ding! Mission issued: Defeat Turles!"

"Mission reward: Cultivation method for the Tree of Might fruit."

"Do you accept?"

At this moment, the system's notification sounded in his mind.

"Accept!"

Li Feng said without hesitation.

But then, he felt puzzled.

"Cultivation method for the Tree of Might fruit? Isn't it just a matter of planting the Tree of Might fruit directly on a planet and letting it absorb the planet's nutrients?"

"That is an incorrect cultivation method; planting the Tree of Might fruit does not have to come at the cost of sacrificing the planet."

Li Feng immediately recalled the plot of the Turles arc, and only then did he suddenly understand the source of the fire.

In the original story, it was because Turles's probe crashed into Earth, causing the fire and sending data to Turles's spaceship, leading his subordinates to come to Earth to plant the Tree of Might. Goku and the others then intervened, eventually destroying Turles with a Spirit Bomb.

According to the plot, Krillin would suggest using the Dragon Balls to restore the destroyed forest, but since half of Earth's ecology would be ruined shortly after, it would be a waste of a Dragon Ball wish.

Krillin, Bulma, and Li Feng were also invited, and everyone gathered for a lively party. Li Feng remained calm and collected, waiting for the plot to unfold.

Meanwhile, in the burnt forest, a soldier wearing Saiyan armor dropped a seed into a crack in the ground.

Shortly after.

"BOOM!"

Several thick vines immediately crawled out from underground, absorbing vast amounts of nutrients from the soil. They grew taller and taller until, finally, a towering tree shot up and continued to expand.

"Goku, Earth is in danger!"

King Kai's voice reached Goku.

"Someone has planted a Tree of Might on Earth. Once that tree takes root in a planet, it will drain all the nutrients, turning the world into a barren wasteland."

"What? There's such a thing?!"

Goku was shocked and hurriedly relayed the news to the others.

"Let's go and destroy that Tree of Might together!"

Krillin proposed.

"I agree!"

"Count me in!"

"I'm going too!"

Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and the rest of the Z Fighters all agreed to go.

Wait, didn't Yamcha die earlier? Why is he here?

In reality, the Yamcha of this world had great luck. He had appeared dead, but it was actually a state of suspended animation; later, after Li Feng finished his battle, he used a Senzu Bean to revive him.

Li Feng, naturally, went along with them.

The massive Tree of Might was enormous; even at the crown, the surface area was as large as a football field. It stood tens of thousands of meters tall, covering an area the size of a small village, and it was still growing.

"Are you the ones who planted this tree to destroy the Earth?"

Goku asked angrily.

"Heh heh, humans, feel honored to become nutrients for the Tree of Might."

A young man with a spiky hairstyle wearing battle armor laughed.

"So you're the ones who destroyed the plane I just took out a fifteen-year loan for yesterday?"

Yamcha was even more furious!

"Unforgivable!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

There were five opponents and six people on Li Feng's side, leaving Li Feng without a direct match-up when the fighting broke out.

Bang, bang, bang, bang!

The group was locked in fierce combat amidst the trees.

Sigh, another day of playing babysitter.

Li Feng lay sprawled across a thick tree branch, watching the various battlefields with a bored expression.
