"That's the situation."
Li Feng immediately shared his thoughts with everyone.
"Take the Tree of Might's energy the same way we gather energy for the Spirit Bomb? I'll give it a try."
Goku raised his hands and closed his eyes, sensing the Tree of Might's energy.
Rumble! Outside, the Tree of Might continued to grow, greedily drawing in energy from its surroundings.
As Goku gathered energy, the power that should have come from plants and animals instead came from the Tree of Might. A golden orb appeared deep among its branches, radiating warmth.
Then the golden orb shattered, scattering into a sea of starlight that fell everywhere.
Once the core energy of the Tree of Spirit was gone, it stopped growing. The enormous trunk began to crumble, and its branches, which had spread across the land, withered. All the energy returned to the earth from which it had come.
"We did it!"
Everyone was overjoyed. At last, they had resolved the disaster.
"But most of the damage to Earth will be difficult to repair. We should still use the Dragon Balls."
Li Feng said.
"So that's why you wouldn't let us use the Dragon Balls earlier!"
Krillin suddenly understood.
They gathered the Dragon Balls, summoned Shenron, and wished for Earth to be restored to the way it was before the fire.
A flash of red light from Shenron later, Earth had returned to normal.
"Whatever the case, we managed to resolve everything perfectly in the end."
"Wow, Li Feng, you've gotten even stronger!"
Goku marveled again. Every time he thought he was about to catch up with Li Feng, the gap between them widened once more.
Vegeta: So you finally know how I feel.
"You're not so bad yourself."
Li Feng said.
"There are even stronger enemies waiting for us on Namek. The journey will take a month, so we'll have plenty of time to train on the ship."
"Yeah. See you tomorrow."
"Goodbye."

After everyone had left, Li Feng looked at the Tree of Might fruit in his storage space and fell into thought.
Never mind. I can't find a suitable place to plant it for now. I'll deal with it later...
The next day, Dr. Brief finished preparing the spaceship for the trip to Namek, and everyone gathered.
Thanks to the genius Dr. Brief's modifications, the new ship could hold at least dozens of people. It had several rooms and bathrooms, and most importantly, a Gravity Training Chamber capable of reaching one hundred times normal gravity.
That meant they could keep training on the way to Namek.
"Li Feng, be careful." Bulma was reluctant to let him go.
"I will."
"Gohan, remember to study. If you run into danger, make sure you run away. And don't forget to pack clothes, food..."
Chi-Chi chattered on beside them, but her words were full of affection.
After saying their goodbyes, Li Feng, Piccolo, Goku, and Gohan set off on their journey to Namek.
Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Chiaotzu, and the others knew they were far too weak to come along, so they had no choice but to stick to the original plan and seek out Grandmother Crystal to train on King Kai's Planet...
"Huh? So this is the Gravity Training Chamber? What's different about it?"
As soon as the ship took off, Goku couldn't wait to head for the Gravity Training Chamber.
Even Goku, a training fanatic, couldn't resist the urge to work out.
"It lets you adjust the gravity. The maximum is one hundred times... Huh? One hundred and fifty times?"
Li Feng explained, then realized that the Gravity Training Chamber could actually go as high as one hundred and fifty times normal gravity.
It seemed Dr. Brief had improved the gravity training equipment again.
Piccolo and Gohan came in after him.
Li Feng set the gravity to twice normal.
"Oh, I see. Training under these conditions really would make you improve faster."
Goku felt his body grow a little heavier.
Piccolo didn't seem affected at all.
Gohan, however, felt it most strongly.
Under twice normal gravity, he couldn't help bending at the waist.
"Gohan, you should wait until you're a little older before training in the Gravity Training Chamber. It's not good for your development," Li Feng warned.
In the original story, Gohan hadn't trained in a Gravity Training Chamber at this point. The earliest he used one was during the Cell Saga, when he was at least ten years old.
"Right, Gohan. Go train in another room for now."
Goku urged him too.
"Yeah, this is still too much for you."
Piccolo agreed, unusually.
Seeing their reaction, Gohan had no choice but to give up on training in the Gravity Training Chamber. He ran off to train by himself in a regular room.
"Then I'll keep increasing it."
Li Feng started turning it up.
When it reached fifteen times normal gravity, even Piccolo stopped looking unbothered and clenched his fists.
Sweat began to form on Goku's forehead too.
Li Feng checked with his Detector.
Piccolo's current battle power was 18,000.
Goku's was 30,000.
Five times normal gravity was just right for them.
"Then let's start getting used to this level."
Li Feng barely felt a thing. He had already experienced a hundred times normal gravity.
So the three of them each began adapting and training.
Gohan trained on his own as well.
He was still young, but he had a strong spirit. After seeing his father and Li Feng fight, a fierce desire burst to life in his little body.
To grow stronger!
To become even stronger!
The four of them trained separately.
Meanwhile, on an unknown planet, a spherical spaceship slammed into the ground, leaving a huge crater.
"It's Prince Vegeta's ship!" A Frieza Force soldier hurried over to greet him.
But he found Vegeta inside, barely alive and unable to move. He quickly summoned others to transfer Vegeta to a Medical Pod for treatment.
A day later, the pod's hatch opened, and green liquid poured out. A muscular man stepped out, his rock-hard muscles radiating a terrifying aura.
"Damn you, Li Feng! I'll never forgive you!" Vegeta snarled.
On that trip to Earth, the once high-and-mighty prince had been brutally ground into the dirt.
How could he stand that humiliation?
But if he wanted revenge, he knew he wasn't strong enough.
So he trained even harder.
A month later, someone interrupted Vegeta's training. It was Cui, one of Frieza's men.
"Heh heh heh, Vegeta. Have you completed King Frieza's mission? I heard someone beat you half to death on some planet in the Solar System," Cui taunted.
"Mind your own business!" Vegeta snorted.
He had wanted to escape Frieza's control for a long time. If he weren't still in Frieza's territory and worried that his whereabouts would be exposed, he would have dealt with Cui on the spot.
"Hmph. Just wait until you have to answer to King Frieza."
"There's a new mission. King Frieza needs someone to go to Namek and find the wish-granting orbs so he can make his great wish," Cui said coldly.
"Don't even think about slacking off this time. I'll be watching you the whole way," Cui said disdainfully.
Namek? Wish-granting orbs?
Vegeta suddenly realized this was an opportunity. If he got the Dragon Balls before Frieza and wished for eternal life, then Frieza, Li Feng, and all the rest would be at his mercy.
At the thought, Vegeta sneered. He would pretend to submit to Cui for now and bide his time.
First, he needed to find out how many enemies there were. If the Ginyu Force got involved, things would be difficult.
As for taking orders from Cui for now, what did it matter? There was no point arguing with a dead man.
"Of course, esteemed Cui. I'll gladly accept King Frieza's assignment."
Vegeta replied respectfully.
"May I ask who else is going to Namek?"
"Heh heh. Since you seem so sincere, I'll tell you. Lord Zarbon and Lord Dodoria will be going to keep an eye on you."
"What about the Ginyu Force?"
"What are you thinking? The mighty and respected Ginyu Force doesn't have time for something like this!"
Heh heh. That's good. As long as the Ginyu Force doesn't come, those bastards are as good as dead! Vegeta thought with a sinister grin.
In fact, setting aside the fact that Vegeta, just like in the original story, had reached a battle power of 24,000 after recovering from his injuries on Earth, what mattered more was that he had turned his hatred of Li Feng into motivation for hellish training.
Vegeta's battle power was now 35,000!
Unlike Li Feng, who could use Senzu Beans almost endlessly to recover, Vegeta could only use a Medical Pod to heal serious injuries, and it took at least half a day.
Even so, Vegeta was now far stronger and more determined than he had been at the same point in the original story.
With each of them harboring their own schemes, they set off for Namek in their spaceships.
A month later, Vegeta and Li Feng's group arrived on Namek at the same time.
