The door of the Giant Egg-like spaceship opened, and a purple-haired young man stepped out.

He was handsome, with a cool, dignified air, but the aura radiating from him made it impossible to deny that he was powerful.

"Huh? Did I successfully travel through time?"

That was right. This was Trunks, who had traveled from the future to the present.

According to the information he had, he should have returned to the past, when Frieza and King Cold had just arrived on Earth. So why couldn't he sense either of them? And the people in front of him—comparing them to the photos in his memory, they should be Son Goku and the others. But who was the handsome young man standing at the front? Why was he smiling at him?

The group exchanged glances.

At that moment, Li Feng broke the silence.

"You're too late. King Cold and Cooler have already been defeated by Son Goku, Vegeta, and the others."

"What?!"

Trunks was astonished. According to the information from his mother Bulma in the future, in the original timeline, Goku should have defeated King Cold and Frieza. His father, Vegeta, shouldn't have been strong enough yet.

But then despair and unwillingness welled up inside him. It seemed he had traveled to the wrong time. This wasn't the familiar timeline he had originally known.

"Who are you? Why did this spaceship suddenly appear here? Are you here to invade Earth too?"

Goku asked sternly. Having just encountered King Cold, he didn't dare trust a stranger too easily.

"Please wait. You're Mr. Goku, right? Could I speak with you privately? Don't worry, I mean no harm."

Trunks spoke to Goku.

"Hold on."

"I'll come with you."

Li Feng offered.

"Sorry, sir, but Mr. Goku and I really do have something important to discuss."

Though Trunks was puzzled by the unknown young man before him, he still felt that business came first. He hoped the others wouldn't interrupt them.

"Looks like I'll have to let my strength do the talking."

Li Feng sighed helplessly.

Then his gaze sharpened.

"Whoosh!"

"Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!"

In an instant, he transformed into a Super Saiyan!

A golden aura erupted, and the powerful air currents made everyone sway slightly. Fortunately, Li Feng had used the bare minimum of power to transform.

"What?! Is that a Super Saiyan? Y-you... who are you?!"

Trunks was the most shocked. He knew Li Feng's transformation all too well. This was a Super Saiyan! This handsome guy's aura was far stronger than his own—even stronger than the two demons from the future! But who was he? Why had Trunks never heard of him in the future?

"Transform too. Let me see what you can do."

Li Feng said coolly.

"What? You mean this kid can transform into a Super Saiyan too?!"

Now Vegeta was the one who was surprised.

Trunks's expression was grave, and cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

"You must have a lot of questions. You'll understand after we fight."

Li Feng's lips curled up.

"Fine!"

Trunks's fighting spirit was roused too.

"Hah!"

"Whoosh!"

A gale burst from Trunks as well. Golden flames ignited around him, his purple hair turned upright and golden, his eyebrows turned gold, and his eyes turned green. His powerful aura pressed toward them.

"W-what's going on? Why is there another unknown Super Saiyan?"

Krillin said in surprise.

Li Feng checked Trunks's current power level with his Scouter: 250 million.

His own first-stage Super Saiyan transformation had a power level of one billion!

"That bastard Li Feng has gotten even stronger!"

Vegeta gritted his teeth in frustration.

The moment Li Feng transformed, Vegeta had immediately realized how strong he was. Li Feng had transformed into a Super Saiyan during their training before, but this transformation was even stronger than any of the previous ones!

Even though Li Feng had deliberately suppressed his aura after transforming, Vegeta could still tell how powerful he really was.

But what shocked Vegeta was that this young man who had suddenly appeared could also transform into a Super Saiyan! And the strength of his aura was about the same as Vegeta's after recovering from his serious injuries.

After his recovery, Vegeta's base power level had reached six million.

"Well, I'll leave this fight to Li Feng."

Goku rubbed the back of his head and said helplessly.

Trunks followed.

Two pairs of feet touched down.

Two figures surrounded by golden flames stared at each other.

Trunks braced himself and took up a fighting stance, but cold sweat kept trickling down his face. Only now, facing Li Feng head-on, did he truly feel how powerful he was.

Li Feng, by contrast, wore a confident smile and didn't look nervous at all.

"Tap!"

A breeze swept by, sending a tiny pebble into the air. When it hit the ground, it became the starting gun for their battle.

"Whoosh!"

The two vanished in an instant. A moment later, a tremendous crash rang out in the air, and astonishing energy rippled through it!

"Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!"

They exchanged blows at incredible speed. Their figures were impossible to make out in the air; all anyone could see were two dazzling golden flashes weaving past each other. After each strike, they rapidly pulled apart. Every collision pulverized the rocks and shook the ground.

"These two are far stronger than Cooler was at the start!"

Piccolo's eyes widened. This battle was even more intense than Cooler's earlier fight with Goku.

"Li Feng really is strong. Looks like he was holding back when we sparred before."

Goku sighed in admiration.

Li Feng had transformed into a Super Saiyan when he fought them before too, but the battles had ended quickly. At the time, he and Vegeta couldn't transform yet, and the gap in their strength had been too great.

"Who are you? How can you transform into a Super Saiyan too?"

Trunks fought Li Feng, growing more shocked with every exchange. All of his attacks were blocked, as if they'd sunk into the sea, while his opponent's strength and speed were terrifying. And Li Feng still seemed to have plenty left in reserve. Unable to hold back, Trunks asked.

"I'm Li Feng. Like you, I came to this world from another time."

Li Feng explained.

"Everyone in your world exists in mine, so I know where you came from."

"I came to this world to keep getting stronger and protect my family, my friends, and Earth."

"By the way, Bulma in this world is my wife."

Li Feng smiled.

"What?!"

Trunks was stunned by Li Feng's words. His movements faltered, and Li Feng instantly punched him.

Boom!

With a tremendous crash, Trunks was hammered into a valley.

Huge rocks collapsed.
