Only after sensing that Cooler's energy had completely vanished did Goku finally breathe a sigh of relief and drop out of Super Saiyan form.

"That's right. He's our child, and he's a boy. He was born two months ago, while you were still away, so I gave him a name first. His name is Li Xing."

"Li Xing. That's a wonderful name."

Goku didn't stand on ceremony and swallowed the bean at once.

In an instant, Goku felt a refreshing coolness spread through his body. The pain and broken bones were all healed, and his energy returned to normal.

Li Feng checked Goku's power level with the Scouter. Even after being gravely injured and then healed, it was fifteen million!

"Besides getting stronger through ordinary training and raising our base power, there's a second way for Saiyans to grow stronger: increasing the multiplier of our transformations."

"Your Super Saiyan form stacked with Kaio-ken had a multiplier of a hundred, but it only lasted a few seconds and put an enormous strain on your body. I don't recommend using it."

Krillin sensed the energy that had suddenly appeared and was shocked to find that it was no weaker than that of Goku and the other Saiyans.

"Damn it! Is this another new enemy?"

Vegeta gritted his teeth. This battle had been a crushing blow. He had thought he would become powerful after turning Super Saiyan, but Cooler had still beaten him senseless. And now the energy signature that had appeared seemed even stronger than his. Why were powerful fighters suddenly as common as cabbages?
