Training and Growing Stronger

Ye Ming pretended he had never heard of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and asked, "What kind of place is the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"

Goku scratched his head and said, "I forgot to tell you. The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is a place specifically for training. The ratio of time inside to outside is 365 to 1."

Ye Ming nodded. "I see. Training inside must make your efforts far more effective."

A little while later, they arrived in front of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Goku enthusiastically introduced Ye Ming to the current Guardian, Dende. "This is my new friend. His name is Ye Ming, and he's a Saiyan too."

Dende smiled and replied, "It's nice to meet you, Ye Ming."

As he spoke, Dende held out his small hands. Ye Ming politely said, "It's nice to meet you too, Dende. Sorry for the trouble."

Ye Ming knew that, as a newcomer, he needed to build good relations with everyone.

As a Guardian, Dende could sense that the Saiyan before him meant no harm. He also gave off a kind aura.

Just then, Goku asked, "Dende, could we borrow the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train?"

"Of course. But you can't damage the Hyperbolic Time Chamber like you did last time. Otherwise, I won't let you train in there."

Goku gave an awkward grin. "Sure, sure! That was just an accident!"

With that, he and Ye Ming walked into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

It was Ye Ming's first time there, and he looked around. The place was vast but stiflingly hot, and he could clearly feel time speeding up.

It really was the perfect place to grow stronger. If he could stay there for a long time, his strength and power level would surely rise by several stages.

Goku took off his jacket, revealing his training clothes. Ye Ming gazed intently at Goku. This was his first time facing him in person.

He had watched this protagonist grow step by step in the anime. Now that he had the chance to spar with him, Ye Ming was thrilled.

Goku felt Ye Ming's strength firsthand. In his base form, he was completely outclassed, and his arms were starting to go numb.

Ye Ming had overwhelmed Goku in his base form without even turning Super Saiyan. But he knew Goku still hadn't shown his true strength.

Just then, the system spoke again: "Congratulations, Host. You have obtained Super Saiyan Full Power First Stage."

As he felt his strength grow further, Ye Ming's lips curled into a faint smile. Now he could really have some fun with Goku.

Goku suddenly roared. Amid flashes of lightning, his hair turned golden.

This was Super Saiyan First Stage. Feeling Goku's battle power multiply dozens of times over, Ye Ming began to take the fight seriously.

Goku suddenly powered up and rushed in, engaging Ye Ming in close combat.

They both gave it their all. After they traded punches, Ye Ming felt a hint of pressure. He could feel the force behind Goku's fist.

Goku spun away and rolled across the ground before getting back to his feet. It was clear he'd been at a disadvantage in their exchange, even after transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Goku was shocked. Ye Ming hadn't used a single transformation, yet Goku was still the one on the back foot.

But Goku wasn't discouraged. If anything, he was excited. He relished the chance to challenge someone strong.

In a flash, he appeared in front of Ye Ming again and threw a punch.

Ye Ming suddenly bent down, dodging the blow. Goku was surprised, but didn't dwell on it. He kept attacking!

Ye Ming suddenly put some distance between them. Goku searched for an opening, and the two found themselves at a standoff.

After a while, Ye Ming made the first move. He appeared behind Goku, aiming to lock his arm around Goku's throat.

But Goku had been through countless battles and had already seen through his plan. He turned, grabbed Ye Ming's arm, and smiled confidently.

Ye Ming knew he couldn't fool Goku with such a simple trick.

He still lacked some combat experience. In fact, since their first exchange, he'd already been learning how to use fighting techniques.

"So this is a Saiyan's talent?" Ye Ming exclaimed.

Suddenly, Ye Ming stood up. Seeing his terrifying presence, Goku immediately took a fighting stance.

Ye Ming roared and powered up. Goku felt his energy keep rising, and the force pushed him back.

As he retreated, Goku was thrilled. I probably can't beat him with my Super Saiyan First Stage.

In an instant, Ye Ming let his aura fade, then charged at Goku. Seeing Ye Ming move several times faster than before, Goku immediately raised his fists to block.

But Ye Ming's strength far exceeded Goku's expectations. One punch shattered Goku's guard, and a kick sent him flying.

Goku fell to the ground, then staggered back to his feet. "You're incredible! I thought you'd only just learned how to fight, but you adapted so quickly. You're getting me more and more excited!"

Ye Ming smiled in reply. "Maybe it's just talent! The best is yet to come, though you're pretty strong too."

As they spoke, Goku suddenly rose to his feet and roared. Golden lightning flashed over his body, his muscles swelled, and he transformed into Super Saiyan 2.

"This is my Super Saiyan Second Stage. It's dozens of times stronger than the first stage," Goku said.

"Bring it on!" Ye Ming took up a fighting stance.

Goku rushed forward, much faster than before. He punched Ye Ming in the face, but Ye Ming suddenly raised his arm in front of it.

Even so, the shockwave sent him flying. He immediately turned and got back to his feet, then charged at Goku.

They fought for more than a hundred exchanges, and Ye Ming was adapting to Goku's fighting style and speed.

Goku could feel Ye Ming adjusting to his rhythm. "What kind of monster is this?" he exclaimed.

Goku suddenly darted away, putting some distance between them. His expression remained stern, but his heart was in turmoil. He could feel Ye Ming's battle power continuing to rise as the fight went on, with no apparent limit.

Goku's only advantage was his greater combat experience. Thanks to his fighting techniques, he had gradually gained the upper hand.

Ye Ming stood opposite Goku, his expression serious. He'd taken a few injuries, but nothing too bad.

"I really do lack combat experience. In this body, I can only handle Goku's Super Saiyan 2 form?" Ye Ming murmured.

Goku told Ye Ming, "You're really strong. If my combat experience weren't a little better than yours, I'd probably be the one on the back foot."

People outside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber felt the tremors too!

Everyone outside was astonished. They knew Goku hadn't fought this seriously in a long time.

"Looks like he's facing a strong opponent," Dende said, looking at Mr. Popo.

Piccolo had arrived outside Kami's Lookout. "What's Goku doing in there? I can feel his terrifying aura."

"He's sparring with a guest," Dende replied. "The guest's name is Ye Ming, and he's a Saiyan too."

Hearing this, Piccolo's expression turned serious. He didn't know whether the other Saiyan was friend or foe.

Dende said to Piccolo, "Ye Ming shouldn't be our enemy. I can sense his kind aura."

Piccolo nodded. As a Guardian, Dende could sense the innate nature of others.

Back inside the chamber, Ye Ming looked at Goku, who had completed his transformation, and his eyes blazed with fighting spirit.

"Sorry for the wait, Ye Ming. This is my Super Saiyan Third Stage form." Goku stood before him, radiating power.

Looking at Goku, who appeared even more ferocious than before, Ye Ming felt a surge of excitement.
