The Saiyans' Rise!

Faced with Mu Chuan's request, North Kai thought it over. After all, he needed to carefully consider whether there might be a problem with it.

In the end, he found that it seemed perfectly reasonable, with none of the traps he'd imagined.

If he could find the high-tech chip in the cosmic graveyard on Big Gete Star, he could study it carefully. Whether or not he chose to use it, as long as it was in his hands, he wouldn't end up creating an even more powerful enemy.

Of course, that was assuming using it wouldn't turn him into some grotesque monster, and only changed his form.

If so, he'd have struck it rich!

But whichever way he looked at it, finding the chip would be a win.

That was why he'd made this request.

Every threat had to be nipped in the bud, and every opportunity seized and kept in his hands, so he could use it to increase his combat power.

Since he had the ability to know what was coming,

he couldn't afford to waste it.

He knew that before long, the Saiyans inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber would come out.

Since they couldn't help him, the Saiyans had been taking turns entering the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Even those who weren't inside had shut out all outside information.

They'd devoted themselves completely to training.

They apparently hadn't even noticed Mu Chuan's return, which showed just how hard they were working.

They could already feel the difference between them and him.

Before, they'd been able to help out a little. At least, the gap in their combat power hadn't been all that great. But now, they couldn't even watch from the sidelines.

That was completely unacceptable to the proud Saiyans!

Before they knew it, three days had gone by.

At last, the doors to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber swung open, and a group of Saiyans with a raw, primal air about them stepped out.

Their Battle Suits were already in tatters, and their hair had grown considerably longer. The energy radiating from them was like that of Great Apes.

Their power had surged so much that, for a while, they couldn't rein it in.

Sensing the Saiyans' arrival, Mu Chuan slowly opened his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Not bad, not bad! I knew I'd picked the right Saiyans!"

"After entering the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, each of them reached at least a million in combat power. That means they can master Pseudo Super Saiyan."

"Once they reach the limit of their base power, they'll be able to try transforming into Super Saiyans."

"How could the Saiyans not rise to greatness like this?"

"Only when the Saiyans truly rise will they be able to find better items to help me grow stronger and fight across the universe!"

Mu Chuan had planned out the path ahead long ago. He was doing everything he could to raise his combat power, and he hadn't paid much attention to the Saiyans.

But...

The Saiyans hadn't fully matured yet. For now, they could only be considered somewhat powerful.

But as they continued to grow, they would eventually become powerful warriors in their own right. They could help him in plenty of ways, especially by finding more items that could increase his strength.

Carl and the others sensed Mu Chuan's presence. Their faces immediately lit up with joy.

"You're back!"

"Does that mean... that Frieza guy is already...?"

All the Saiyans crowded around Mu Chuan, their faces brimming with excitement. Their combat power had grown, and now Mu Chuan had returned, too.

It was truly one piece of good news after another.

When they'd entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, they'd been prepared to die. If anything had happened to Mu Chuan,

they would have taken revenge on Frieza!

No matter how powerful Frieza was, they would never have let the matter rest!

That determination was what had let them improve so quickly in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, taking their combat power from tens of thousands to over a million.

It was a qualitative leap!

Faced with the excited Saiyans, Mu Chuan didn't hold back.

"That's right. Frieza has been defeated. You don't need to worry about him anymore. Just do your best to raise your combat power. I'll deal with any stronger enemies!"

The moment Mu Chuan finished speaking, every Saiyan present was stunned. They'd suspected as much, but hearing it for real still left them unable to believe it!
