Yao Yan fused with the Tunling Clan bloodline, grew stronger under Hun Xuzi’s guidance, and began training beyond the Yao Clan. After collecting new bloodline powers and befriending Ling Er, he left Shennong City and turned the mercenaries pursuing him against one another.

• Yao Yan’s bloodline test left him outside the Yao Clan’s core lineage, so he accepted Hun Xuzi’s offer and survived fusing with the Spirit Devouring King’s essence blood.
• Yao Yan trained under Yao Nong, reached the Dou Zhe realm, refined the Illusory Gold Flame, and set out for the Shennong Mountain Range.

Yao Yan avenged his parents by killing Yao Ding, then escaped toward the Black-Corner Region through a Space Storm and arrived in the Tagor Desert. There he took Medusa Queen’s amnesiac younger sister under his care and convinced Hai Bo Dong to stay and guide him.

• Yao Yan fought Mu Xiao to strengthen his body, and Yao Nong killed Mu Xiao after Yao Yan survived his Golden Greatsword’s explosion.
• Yao Yan returned to the Medicine World, waited for Yao Ding, and destroyed his banquet with a Thunder Fire Pill before escaping with the Teleportation Jade Token.
• Yao Nong sacrificed himself to shield Yao Yan from Yao Shan and the Yao Clan’s experts, while Yao Wangui demanded an explanation from Yao Shan.
• A Space Storm shattered Yao Yan’s Teleportation Jade Token and sent him away, and Hun Xuzi later followed his trail toward the Black-Corner Region.
• Yao Yan recovered in the Tagor Desert, killed the mercenaries who tried to rob him, freed their Snake-People captives, and agreed to travel with Medusa Queen’s amnesiac younger sister.

Yao Yan traveled north with Cai Die, strengthened his cultivation, and obtained the second half of the Fragmented Map after negotiating with the Amethyst Crystal Winged Lion King. After killing Nalan Jie and Xiao Lin, he reached Wutan City while Hai Bo Dong warned Jia Xingtian against pursuing his friends and urged peace with the Snake-People Tribe.

• Medusa Queen returned to lead the Snake-People home, and Yao Yan helped her sister choose the name Cai Die before traveling with her and Hai Bo Dong toward Rock City.
• In Rock City, Yao Yan arranged for ingredients and a place to refine pills, broke through to One Star Da Dou Shi with a Three-Pattern Azure Spirit Pill, and helped Cai Die restore her memories and power.
• Yao Yan left with Cai Die and Ling Er for the Magical Beast Mountain Range, where Cai Die fought the Amethyst Crystal Winged Lion King before Yao Yan agreed to refine a pill for its cub.
• Yao Yan refined the Amethyst Essence Stabilizing Pill, awakening the cub’s Origin Amethyst Flame, and Cai Die retrieved a matching Fragmented Map from a cave dwelling.
• At the mountain range’s edge, Yao Yan and Cai Die encountered Jia Lao, Nalan Jie, and Xiao Lin, and Yao Yan and Cai Die killed the three Dou Wangs after a brief confrontation.
• Jia Xingtian investigated the missing Dou Wangs and questioned Hai Bo Dong, who refused to join the conflict and promised to bear the consequences if Jia pursued his friends.
• Yao Yan arrived in Wutan City with Cai Die, while Hai Bo Dong told Jia Xingtian that Yao Yan was a seventeen-year-old Peak Rank 5 Alchemist with Da Dou Shi strength.

Yao Yan stole the Tou She Ancient God Jade, obtained the Flame Mantra, and joined forces with the Medusa Queen after helping her defeat Xie Bi Yan. He secured a Fragmented Map and began building ties with the Snake-People Tribe, but the elders challenged his right to take Cai Die away.

• Yao Yan replaced the Tou She Ancient God Jade in the Xiao Family’s Ancestral Hall with a fake, then erased the Bone Flame Ring’s Soul Imprint and discovered the Flame Mantra inside.
• Yao Yan devoured the Illusory Gold Flame and advanced to Six Star Da Dou Shi before arranging a land agreement between Jia Xingtian and the Snake-People Tribe.
• Medusa Queen discovered Yao Yan and Cai Die together through a golden token, then agreed to cooperate with Yao Yan after he offered his alchemy skills and support.
• Yao Yan and Cai Die met Hai Bo Dong at Stone Desert City and learned that a Fragmented Map was in Snake-People territory.
