"Rumble-"
Rocky Mountains.
An invisible ripple swept across the area, waking the slumbering Rock Monsters. One by one, they let out roars, took heavy strides, and scattered in every direction.
"Clang-"
"Do you all feel that?" Like a bolt of lightning flashing through his mind, the smile on Pat's face froze.
Unable to believe what he had just sensed, he asked the others.
But by this time, the others were also stunned, and no one answered his question.
They turned their heads one after another to look toward the Rocky Mountains.
Even Bellis, who had been sulking just moments ago because she couldn't go to the Rocky Mountains, was now panicked.
Pat was the first to react, knowing that this was no time to be dazed.
He shouted, "Everyone, drop your gear and head toward Panxi City at full speed!"
Pat's voice jolted the others awake; they quickly discarded their backpacks and took to the air, flying toward Panxi City behind Pat.
"What is going on? Why have the monsters over there come out?"
"I don't know, just run for your lives for now. Let's hope those monsters aren't coming for us."
"Beep-beep-" Hatton, who had been feeling annoyed, suddenly noticed countless energy readings appearing on his Energy Detector.
He was immediately overjoyed and asked, "Pike, are these those monsters?"
Pike watched the energy readings moving toward their position and hurriedly said, "Leader, yes. But the situation is wrong; the monsters seem to be heading our way. If we don't leave now, we won't be able to get away."
"Good, good, good. Now let's see how Pat and his lot die."
Hatton laughed while packing his things, preparing to retreat.
Seeing that they hadn't chosen to run at the first opportunity, it was already too late; the Rock Monsters had discovered them.
This was a Rock Monster with a combat power of 30,000. It didn't even pay attention to the ants beneath its feet as it passed by, crushing Hatton and his group with a single step.
Their revenge plan was nipped in the bud.
Pat and the others had no idea that the Rock Monsters had inadvertently solved a problem for them.
They were fleeing for their lives, but unfortunately, at their current speed, it was impossible to escape; the Rock Monster heading in their direction had a combat power of over 50,000.
Seeing the sensed aura getting closer and closer, Pat and the others grew increasingly desperate.
Lan Xin shouted urgently, "Everyone, suppress your energy, split up and hide! Stop flying in the sky, move on foot!"
Hearing this, everyone looked at their leader, Pat. Pat knew that Lan Xin's method was a gamble—not just a gamble with their lives, but a gamble with luck.
But it was the best option they had for now; it was better than them all being wiped out together. Whether they could escape depended on their own luck.
"Listen to Lan Xin. We'll meet in Panxi City." Pat did not hesitate; in this race against time, there was no room for second-guessing, and he shouted his order.
With the leader's word, everyone took action immediately. They picked a direction and scattered in twos and threes, disappearing from the spot in no time.
The Rock Monster stopped at their previous position, as if it had lost its target.
Finally, it chose a direction at random and strode forward.
Around the Rocky Mountains, creatures were dying continuously. In a short while, they had pushed outward by a thousand miles, and this number was still growing.
No one knew how long they would keep moving or how much territory they would expand into before stopping.
What the group didn't know was that this scene wasn't just happening at the Rocky Mountains; monsters had awakened in over a dozen places across the globe, continuously slaughtering the people and beasts they encountered.
Moreover, the combat power of these monsters was all above 30,000, with the highest reaching 100,000.
By the time the government received the information, an entire night had passed. If it weren't for the fact that these monsters had awakened in desolate, uninhabited areas, countless lives would have already been lost.
Seeing Reke go down, the three men—the Middle-Aged Man and the others—looked at each other. Neither of the two spoke, nor did they take action.
"Cough, cough-" The Bald Man's coughing broke the silence.
"I'm not going down there. I don't know when these injuries will heal," the Old Granny said first.
"Who's to say otherwise? We're lucky to have kept our lives this time," the Middle-Aged Man replied, clutching his arm.
"I have to say, this was a real eye-opener. I never expected a human could be this strong," the Bald Man said, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth.
"You two still have hope of advancing further. It's a pity that this old woman encountered it too late," the Old Granny said, her eyes dimming and her expression lonely.
The Middle-Aged Man and the Bald Man exchanged bitter smiles, both knowing that whatever they said would be inappropriate.
"Forget it, forget it. This old woman has no hope; I can only look to see if the younger generation is promising." Shaking her head, the Old Granny walked toward the barrier, preparing to reunite with her juniors and leave this place.
Once the Old Granny moved, the other two followed closely behind.
They all knew that whatever was down there had nothing to do with them anymore; it was better to leave early and strive for further advancement.
The three appeared covered in blood, and everyone in the fifth space turned their eyes toward them.
The three ignored them and returned to their respective teams.
"Leader, why are you so heavily injured? Who hurt you? Tell me, and I'll go chop him to pieces right now!" Six-Arms supported the Middle-Aged Man, his gaze fierce as he glared at the Old Granny and the Bald Man, waiting for his leader's word to strike them down.
The Bald Man and the Old Granny's teams also looked toward the other two factions, their eyes filled with vigilance and killing intent.
"Shut your mouth. It's not what you think. Let's head up; we can discuss everything else once I've recovered from my injuries."
The Middle-Aged Man grabbed Six-Arms with his uninjured hand and spoke.
The other two factions were much the same, each being warned by their respective leaders.
"Three seniors, could you please tell us what is going on down there?"
"That's right, so many of us are waiting for a result. You aren't leaving until you explain."
"You're courting death." Seeing people blocking their path, the three of them struck simultaneously.
Although the three of them had been injured in the sixth space, they were not people the remaining crowd could bully.
Those who had jumped out to block them were killed in an instant, and the three returned to their respective teams, continuing their trek toward the surface.
The ruthlessness and dominance of the three intimidated the others; no one dared to stand in their way again, and instead, they followed behind them.
"Leader, is that the young man?" The Big-Breasted Woman whispered to the Middle-Aged Man at her side.
The Middle-Aged Man glanced at the Big-Breasted Woman, nodded slightly, and said, "He is ten thousand times more formidable than you imagine. Your intuition was correct."
"With him here, there is nothing we can do. We will discuss the specifics later; I fear the trial above will not be easy to pass."
Reke continued his way downward, and the G5 Base appeared before his eyes.
It was a dilapidated base; one could tell that a battle had taken place here, as most of the structures had collapsed, with only a very few buildings remaining intact.
Reke began to inspect them one by one.
It did not take long for Reke to find the control center.
What Reke did not know was that not far from Udrapa Planet, a spaceship was currently hovering.
"My lord, a life-bearing planet has been detected. Shall we land?" asked a person with a Rat Head.
"Of course we land. Otherwise, what are we, the Xibala Pirate Group and the West Wind?"
