Before Tang San rose to prominence, no one had ever flagrantly broken the rules.

Destruction, Goodness, and Evil, the other three God Kings, also turned to look.

"There are only a few topics on the agenda, and we've discussed them plenty of times. Why not tell us what's happening in the lower realm?"
Goodness and Evil were relatively carefree in temperament. They not only loved traveling among mortals, but also enjoyed gossip and idle chatter.
After all, gods had infinite lifespans, and their daily lives were dull and monotonous. A new topic was clearly more interesting than whether or not they discussed some inconsequential agenda item.
"It's nothing much. Years ago, I placed my inheritance on Douluo Continent, only for Rakshasa to pull a fast one on me. You already know all about that."
"I figured it could pass as a trial, so I couldn't be bothered to interfere. Just now, that region connected with another plane, and I lost one of my successors."
"Fortunately, a new successor appeared not long afterward. So I'll let things take their course. There's no need to interfere directly. Don't forget, this is a rule we agreed on together."
Asura God explained casually.
But despite his words, he seemed somewhat distracted.
How could he possibly feel nothing when a successor was replaced? He simply didn't want his colleagues to see through him.
They got along harmoniously in other matters, but when it came to this, competition was fierce. Everyone wanted to be rid of their godhood as soon as possible.
"Oh? It connected with another plane?"
"Which one? Surely not the Five Elements Continent?"
Evil and Goodness immediately grew alert.

With that, all Five Great God Kings fell silent.
The meeting soon ended, but each of them had their own thoughts.
Even Goodness and Evil, who had already found successors and were currently cultivating them, didn't mind having a few more candidates.

If Asura God were fuming, he couldn't possibly have remained this calm.

No matter how deep his foundations were, he hadn't pierced that final "veil." He was still at the demigod level.
According to the rules laid down by the Five Great God Kings, this was still a conflict within a lower plane, and the lofty gods weren't supposed to take part.

For instance, he'd had Long Xingyu obtain the Divine Slaughter's Domain in advance.
That way, even if things went awry, killing Tang Chen and even destroying the inheritance would at least leave Asura God with a successor, preventing a complete falling-out.
