Di Qiu'er chose to remain with Liu Yuan, and Di Tian's scrutiny of him ended with the Beast God’s hostility rising over Liu Yuan’s potential to become a god.

• Di Tian told Mu En that the Emperor Auspicious Beast had secretly entered the human world after meeting one of Shrek’s students, and Mu En realized she was likely Di Qiu'er.
• Huo Yuhao suspected that Di Qiu'er was the Emperor Auspicious Beast, while Liu Yuan urged her to confess before her identity was exposed.
• Mu En invited Di Tian into the Sea God Pavilion, where Di Tian recognized Di Qiu'er and saw her holding Liu Yuan’s arm.
