By the shore of the Lake of Life, Bi Ji's lovely figure paced back and forth along the bank. Scarlet King, lying on the ground, repeatedly lifted his head to look toward the place where Di Tian had vanished.
The Auspicious Beast's running away from home had left them frantic with worry. Yet all they could do now was trust that Di Tian would find her and bring that girl back.
As they waited anxiously, a faint cracking sound suddenly drew Bi Ji and Scarlet King's attention. Eight eyes focused at once on the open ground where Di Tian had disappeared.
A crack was forming in midair, and a wave of spatial power rippled outward.
Bi Ji and Scarlet King immediately perked up.
