"Vegeta, don't you want to become a Super Saiyan?" Lu Fan asked with a smile.
Vegeta paused.
"I told you to develop a peaceful heart. Why won't you listen?" Lu Fan sighed. "Look at that explosive temper of yours. If I hadn't rushed back in time, you would've killed someone, wouldn't you?"
"Hmph, foolish Earthling. So what if I killed someone?" Vegeta snorted.
Whoosh!
Lu Fan blurred and appeared behind Vegeta in an instant.
Vegeta didn't even have time to react. His eyes widened in shock.
Where had the guy gone?
How had he suddenly disappeared?
I didn't even see him move.
"Go back to sleep for a while." As he spoke, Lu Fan slapped the back of Vegeta's neck again.

The blow landed squarely.
Vegeta's consciousness grew hazy. He crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
"All right, it's fine now." Lu Fan smiled, looking utterly innocent.
"He fainted again?" Bulma asked.
"Yeah. He's got a bit of a temper, so he needs to have his edge worn down." Lu Fan smiled.
"Are you really his lackey?" Bulma asked, wiping away sweat.
Lu Fan nodded.
"Is he really the prince of your planet?" Bulma asked again.
Lu Fan nodded again.
Bulma fell silent.
You treat your own prince like this. Won't you be punished when you get home?
"Lu Fan, have something to eat first," Panchy offered.
"Sure. Thank you, Auntie." Lu Fan nodded politely.
After eating some fruit and pastries, time passed little by little.
Dr. Briefs finally finished making the Dragon Radar.
Dr. Briefs came out holding the radar.
"Lu Fan, here's the Dragon Radar you asked for. What do you think?" Dr. Briefs handed him a device about the size of a phone.
Lu Fan was taken aback.
This is the Dragon Radar?

The Dragon Radar was originally made by Bulma. Now that her father had made it instead, it was only natural that it looked different.
"Look. Just press this button, and it'll show seven flashing dots, along with the coordinates and a map showing where the Dragon Balls are." Dr. Briefs explained how it worked.
It wasn't hard to use. Lu Fan learned in no time.
Using the Dragon Radar, Lu Fan also saw the exact locations of the seven glowing Dragon Balls.
"Oh, right. I made two of them. Both Dragon Radars were modified from this kind of device." Dr. Briefs took out another Dragon Radar. "You can have both. If one breaks, you'll have the other as a spare."
"Two, huh..." Lu Fan glanced at Vegeta.

Lu Fan kicked Vegeta.
"Hey, wake up," Lu Fan called.

After Lu Fan kicked him, Vegeta rubbed his eyes and immediately woke up.
"Damn it! You sneak-attacked me again!" Vegeta sprang to his feet and glared furiously at Lu Fan, ready to charge into battle.
"Hold on, Vegeta. We can put our grudge aside for now. I'm your sparring partner, after all, so I'm always ready to fight whenever you want." Lu Fan waved his hand. "There's something important I need to tell you right now. It's about Super Saiyans."
As soon as Vegeta heard the words "Super Saiyan," he backed down.
"Hmph, you've been spacing out a lot lately. You've been practicing your sneak attacks, haven't you?" Vegeta snorted. "The Scouter can't pick up your energy at all. How are you hiding your battle power?"
"It doesn't matter anymore," Lu Fan said.

"Come take a look." Lu Fan beckoned to Vegeta.

Vegeta gritted his teeth and snorted, then finally went over to him.
"What?" Vegeta asked, scowling.
"Look at this device. It has seven lights on it. We'll split up and find the Dragon Balls at those seven locations." As he spoke, Lu Fan took out the Two-Star Dragon Ball he had found in the storage room at Bulma's house. "This is a Dragon Ball."
"A Dragon Ball? Can it turn me into a Super Saiyan?" Vegeta asked, taken aback as he looked at it.
"That's right. Gather all seven Dragon Balls, and they'll grant any one wish. You can wish to become a Super Saiyan." Lu Fan smiled.
"You're not lying to me, are you?" Vegeta asked, only half-convinced.
Lu Fan smiled but didn't answer.
"Hmph, fine. This planet isn't very big anyway. Finding these seven things should take just a few hours at most," Vegeta mused.
All I have to do is find these seven things called Dragon Balls?
That doesn't sound too hard.
"Then let's split up and look for them." Lu Fan gave Vegeta a Dragon Radar and briefly showed him how to use it.
The Dragon Radar wasn't difficult to operate. Vegeta learned how in no time.
"I'll go after these three." Vegeta pointed to three of the dots on the Dragon Radar.
"Good. I'll look for the three over there," Lu Fan said. "We'll meet back here once we find them."
"I hope you haven't lied to me. Otherwise, don't blame me for what I do to you." Vegeta snorted, then shot into the air and flew off into the distance.
"What? He can fly?" Dr. Briefs' eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
"I'll go look for the Dragon Balls too. If nothing unexpected happens, Vegeta and I should have all seven by dusk." Lu Fan said.
