"Swish!"
Shenron instantly transformed into a pillar of golden light.
The golden pillar split into seven, forming seven orbs of light.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"
The seven orbs scattered in seven different directions, dispersing across the world.
The sky returned to its brightness.
By the time the Briefs family reacted, Lu Fan, Vegeta, and the spaceship parked in the yard had completely vanished.
"Hey, wait for me! I want to go on this trip with you!" Bulma ran up at full speed.
However, Bulma didn't manage to catch anything.
"Hmph, how infuriating! Leaving me behind to go on a trip," Bulma pouted, feeling sullen.
"Ring, ring..."
Just then, the telephone in the yard began to ring.
Dr. Briefs stepped forward and picked up the receiver.
"Oh, it's Tights. How is the experience of living out there going?" Dr. Briefs asked with concern, then paused slightly. "What? Aliens? You've seen aliens too?"
"Eh? Dad? By the sound of it... have you seen aliens as well?" Tights asked.
Tights was Bulma's older sister and a novelist, focusing primarily on science fiction.
Tights had been traveling for a while, claiming she needed to experience life to write better science fiction novels.
"Yes, your mother, Bulma, and I have all seen them, though they should have already left Earth," Dr. Briefs replied.
"They've left?" Tights was stunned.
"By the way, Tights, did you have something you needed to ask me?" Dr. Briefs inquired.
"Dad, this alien I met, Jaco... his spaceship has malfunctioned, and the communication system to his home planet is having issues too. Could you come over and help fix it?" Tights replied.
"Alright, no problem. I'll head over right away," Dr. Briefs agreed without hesitation.
Is our family destined to be involved with aliens?
"Dad, I want to go too. I want to see what the alien my sister met looks like," Bulma said.
"Fine, fine, fine. You can come with me," Dr. Briefs nodded.
Two hours later.
Bulma met the Galactic Patrolman Jaco.
"I thought this alien would be super handsome... but this is it?" Bulma shook her head in disappointment.
Jaco: "..."
What is that supposed to mean?
Are you saying I'm ugly?
This is exactly why I don't like children!
"Dad, this is Jaco. He claims to be a Galactic Patrolman," Tights introduced.
"I don't 'claim' to be one! I really am a Galactic Patrolman! This planet is under my jurisdiction!" Jaco's face darkened as he hurriedly explained with annoyance.
"Pew!"
The laser gun in Bulma's hand fired a beam.
The laser struck the lake in the distance.
"Boom!"
The lake water surged several meters into the air.
Jaco was completely dumbfounded.
"Alien, this is a laser gun I built. If you dare yell at my sister again, I won't be so polite," Bulma huffed.
Jaco wiped away a heavy sweat.
This little girl certainly has a temper.
"Ahem, Jaco, where is your spaceship? Could you let me take a look at it?" Dr. Briefs hurriedly changed the subject.
"Uh, it's over there," Jaco pointed toward a spaceship in the distance.
"It feels different from Lu Fan and the others' spaceship," Bulma muttered.
"Lu Fan? Vegeta? Spaceship? Where are they?" Jaco paused, then asked.
"Eh? Do you know Lu Fan?" Bulma asked curiously.
"He came to Earth with a Saiyan named Vegeta. Have you met him?" Jaco was stunned, his expression shifting rapidly.
Bulma and Dr. Briefs nodded in unison.
"You're still alive?" Jaco was shocked beyond measure.
"What are you saying? You make it sound like they're some kind of heinous villains." Bulma was a bit displeased.
"They're Saiyans! They are incredibly evil Saiyans! It's a miracle you're even alive," Jaco said, wiping away sweat.
"No, Lu Fan isn't like that at all! He's a good person! And he's so handsome, too!" Bulma huffed.
"Young lady, you can't judge a person's character by their appearance," Jaco said with a bitter smile.
"Right, Jaco came to Earth because he discovered that some Saiyans were going to descend upon it... Jaco is here to protect the peace of the Earth," Tights explained.
"Asking again, where are they?" Jaco inquired.
"They've already left," Bulma said.
"Left? Really?" Jaco was both surprised and delighted, feeling a slight sense of relief in his heart.
"Why do I get the feeling that you're actually quite afraid of them?" Bulma looked at Jaco and asked.
"What are you talking about? Why would I be afraid of them?" Jaco immediately denied it.
"Huh? Lu Fan? Vegeta? You're back?" Bulma looked behind Jaco, her face lighting up with surprise.
Jaco nearly wet himself on the spot; the corners of his mouth twitched, and his legs couldn't stop trembling.
"Hehe, just kidding," Bulma grinned, showing a completely innocent smile.
Jaco turned around to look, but there was nothing behind him.
Jaco's face turned dark.
"You can't just scare people like that! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" Jaco shouted angrily.
"Let's go take a look at your spaceship instead..." Dr. Briefs sighed.
Master Roshi's island.
"Whoosh!"
A stone flew in from the distance at high speed.
"Bang!"
The stone pierced through Master Roshi's roof and smashed onto the dining table.
The table shattered into several pieces on the spot.
Master Roshi was startled and hurried over to investigate.
What on earth was that?
Where did that stone come from?
Master Roshi picked up the stone and examined it carefully.
This stone is so round.
What is going on?
Is it a meteorite that fell from the sky?
Whatever!
Master Roshi tossed the stone aside and ran off to repair his roof.
Namek.
Elder Moori's village.
Elder Moori was planting trees near the village with some of the young people.
"Elder, thanks to our years of hard work, Namek has finally regained a little bit of vitality," a young man said with satisfaction.
"Indeed, our race was nearly wiped out... fortunately, we have the Grand Elder," Elder Moori nodded, a kind smile appearing on his face.
"What?" The young man froze, looking behind Elder Moori.
"I said, fortunately, we have the Grand Elder, otherwise our Namek would likely exist in name only," Elder Moori repeated his previous statement.
"No... that's not what I meant, Elder... I meant... that looks like a spaceship, there are aliens coming to our planet," the young man pointed behind Elder Moori, his expression shifting rapidly.
