"Nonsense! You've certainly calmed your mindset, but have you turned into a Super Saiyan?" Vegeta scoffed.

"Didn't I tell you? I might not be able to turn into a Super Saiyan," Lu Fan shook his head. "I am following the path of the Super Saiyan God."

"Tch! Spare me that useless talk!" Vegeta bared his teeth. "I've had enough of this peaceful life. From now on, we go our separate ways! I'm going to pack up and leave this planet!"

"Fine, suit yourself," Lu Fan asked.

"You don't need to be my sparring partner anymore either, since Planet Vegeta is gone anyway," Vegeta said.

What Vegeta did not know was this.

Over these past three years, Lu Fan's strength had undergone a qualitative leap.

Universe 6, Champa Planet.

The God of Destruction Champa was lying on a lounge chair, eyes closed to rest his mind.

"So boring. I'm not like that guy Beerus who can sleep for ages; why can't I fall asleep?" Champa said, letting out a yawn.

The angel Vados was holding her Staff, observing the universe.

"Hey, Vados, find me something to do," Champa turned his head to look at Vados.

"What would Lord Champa like to do?" Vados retracted her Staff for a moment and asked with a smile.

"Is there anything delicious to eat lately?" Champa inquired.

"Delicious food?" Vados shook her head. "It seems we've eaten just about all the delicacies in our universe; there's nothing fresh left to find... After all, hundreds of millions of years have passed... we've already eaten everything there is to eat."

"You're right about that..." Champa nodded, a look of disappointment appearing on his face.

"Lord Champa could consider if there is anything you've eaten before that you'd like to have again," Vados suggested.

"Something I've eaten before that I want to eat again..." Champa thought carefully, shook his head in disappointment once more, and said nonchalantly, "Right, if our universe doesn't have it, does any other universe have good food?"

"Other universes?" Vados paused for a moment, thought about it, and replied, "Now that you mention it, Lord Champa... I heard there is a Gourmet Planet in Universe 7. That planet holds the delicacies of the entire universe. Shall we go over and have a taste?"

"A Gourmet Planet?" Champa was slightly stunned. "A planet like that actually exists?"

"Before Lord Beerus went to sleep, he commissioned Frieza, who calls himself the Emperor of the Universe, to work for him. To curry favor with Lord Beerus, this Mr. Frieza specially built a Gourmet Planet for him to enjoy once he woke up," Vados explained.

"What did you say?" Champa widened his eyes, a look of envy, jealousy, and hatred appearing on his face.

How is it that Beerus's lackey is so observant?

He even specially built a Gourmet Planet for him?

And what about me?

It seems I don't even have a lackey yet.

It looks like I should find myself a lackey.

Right, let's go taste it first.

What if the food on that Gourmet Planet isn't all that great?

If the food there isn't delicious, why would I bother building a Gourmet Planet like that?

"Vados, let's go have a taste, shall we?" Champa proposed.

"Very well, Lord Champa," Vados nodded, offering no objection.

Champa stood beside Vados.

Tap!

Vados tapped her Staff lightly against the ground.

A radiance as brilliant as the stars quickly enveloped Vados and Champa.

Whoosh!

Vados took Champa into the void, and they vanished without a trace in an instant.

After flying for a full hour.

Vados and Champa finally landed on the Gourmet Planet.

Upon arriving at the Gourmet Planet, Champa could clearly smell the scent of cooking in the air.

"It really does feel like a Gourmet Planet," Champa nodded.

"Lord Champa, what shall we have to eat?" Vados asked.

"Hey," Champa grabbed a Frogman at random. "Tell me, where is the most delicious food on this planet?"

Frogman: "..."

Are you guys kidding me?!

Why do you have to grab me every time you ask for directions?

Three years ago, that little brat of a Saiyan named Vegeta grabbed me exactly like this!

Today, this cat-man is coming to grab me again!

"Speak up, why are you spacing out?" Champa rapped the Frogman on the head.

"Croak..." The Frogman couldn't help but let out a cry.

"Hm, got it, over there." Champa nodded and tossed the Frogman aside.

Frogman: "..."

You got it?

I only spoke in my own language?

How could you possibly understand me?

Could it be that you can actually understand my language?

"The most distinctive flavored chicken wings? Are they good?" Champa strode toward the direction the Frogman had pointed. "Chicken wings? First time I've heard of such food."

"Perhaps it's just called something different," Vados speculated.

"I'm actually looking forward to it," Champa smiled.

Champa and Vados soon arrived at this "Flavored Chicken Wings" restaurant.

Most restaurants on the Gourmet Planet actually only specialize in a single variety.

Take this flavored chicken wing shop, for instance.

This shop primarily deals in chicken wings.

Roasted chicken wings, steamed chicken wings, boiled chicken wings, and fried chicken wings—these are the four main types.

Given the shop owner's way of thinking, coming up with these four types was already quite an achievement.

Of course, these four methods of preparation used almost no seasonings, save for a pinch of salt.

Even so, Champa and Vados ate with great relish.

"Who would have thought that the wings of these degenerate pterosaur-like birds could taste so good?" Champa ate until his mouth was slick with grease.

"Indeed, it is the first time I have tasted such delicious chicken wings," Vados nodded in agreement.

"Is this your first time eating chicken wings?" an alien at the next table asked.

"Yes, it is," Vados nodded politely.

"If you pair them with Cola, the taste is even better," the alien said, taking a blissful sip from a cup of Cola before gnawing on a wing.

"What? What are you saying?" Champa was slightly stunned. "What is that stuff you're drinking? Is it the urine of a Planet Mudala dung beetle?"

Alien: "..."

What is he talking about?

"This is called Cola, the best-tasting drink on this planet," the alien sighed.

This cat-man is truly ignorant.

"A drink? How good could it possibly be?" Champa was dazed for three seconds.

It's just a drink.

It's not like I've never had one before.

"Of course it's good; this drink has taken the entire Gourmet Planet by storm," the alien replied.

"Where is it sold?" Champa asked.

"There's a Cola shop at the intersection over there, the only one on this planet," the alien replied. "Though, I'm afraid they're likely sold out at this hour."
