"It's here!"

Shan Ming's excited voice rang out. "I can't believe Qin Tianyu brought out a Transformation Card right away!

"Remember, in last year's Challenge Tournament, he transformed into the Skeletal Nightmare Beast and defeated five Imperial University contestants, ending the competition!

"This time, Lin Xia is all alone, facing such a powerful opponent... What on earth is he going to do!?"

"Whoa—!"

A roar swept through the audience as everyone stared intently at Qin Tianyu's transformation—

A black ring of light appeared beneath his feet. It rapidly expanded until, in the blink of an eye, it had become a gigantic ring thirty meters across.

The next second, Qin Tianyu, still standing upright, dropped into the black ring.

"Boom!!"

The entire arena began to tremble.

Lin Xia tightened his core and struggled to keep his balance, doing his best not to sway from side to side.

Vegeta and Buou, who had been focused on their battle, also turned to look, their faces filled with curiosity.

"Smack—!"

A gigantic skeletal hand, as big as a basketball court, reached out from the ring and slammed into the ground. The shockwave forced everyone on the arena to lower their centers of gravity to keep their footing and avoid being swept away.

The four fingers of the giant skeletal hand clenched, and spiderweb cracks spread across the ground.

The next moment, a massive skull resembling Godzilla rose up...

The Skeletal Nightmare Beast raised a foot like a massive boulder and brought it down toward the tiny Lin Xia!

As he watched the "wall" rush toward him, not a trace of fear appeared in Lin Xia's eyes. He simply stared coldly as it drew closer.

"Whoa~ This kid..."

Aside from Shan Ming, no one noticed that Lin Xia had somehow formed a Card between two fingers of his right hand!

Perhaps because everyone's attention was fixed on the Skeletal Nightmare Beast, Lin Xia's little movements went unnoticed.

"What's Lin Xia doing? Why's he just standing there?!"

A voice rang out from the arena.

Everyone was baffled. Why was Lin Xia standing still?

Even Xu Jian and Zhu Tingyu, who had always supported him without reservation, were now fidgeting restlessly, their faces stiff with worry.

Vegeta was getting anxious. He hated it when people dragged him down. He was holding his own against two opponents, but Lin Xia was just standing there, waiting to die...

Buou kept his head tilted, wearing that same crooked grin.

"Kid, have you given up!?"

Qin Tianyu saw that his foot was about to land on Lin Xia, yet his opponent showed no sign of dodging. He was overjoyed, almost imagining the host announcing his victory!

But the next second, Qin Tianyu's heart gave a sudden lurch, as if it had stopped beating for an instant!

He saw Lin Xia raise his right hand high. The Card that had appeared in it a moment ago had already turned into particles and seeped into his body!!

And that wasn't all. As the light faded around Lin Xia's backside, a red tail appeared!

Lin Xia's human face broke into one last smile...

As the dust slowly cleared, a fifteen-meter-tall Great Ape stood revealed in the center of the arena, towering like a mountain. The oppressive aura radiating from him left everyone struggling to breathe, his presence commanding every gaze!

Vegeta swallowed hard and blinked in disbelief. "There's no moon here. How could you transform!?"
