After thinking it over, Son Gohan exited Dr. Gero's supercomputer and put the miniature robots back into the system.
Android 19 and Android 20 hadn't been created yet, so there was no way for him to program them.
Just then, Son Gohan suddenly heard the doorknob turning.
He hurriedly put the computer away in the system.
The door opened, and a tall, burly man walked in.
It was Son Gohan's maternal grandfather, the Ox-King.
"Gohan, dinner's ready!"
"Okay!"
Son Gohan nodded.
After lunch.
Son Gohan took a nap at home.
At around two o'clock, Chi-Chi knocked and entered Son Gohan's room, waking him from a deep sleep.
"Gohan, it's already two. It's about time to study!"
"Study?"
Son Gohan asked groggily.
"Go wash up, then start reading and doing your exercises!"
"Okay!"
As he spoke, Son Gohan immediately got up and ran into the bathroom.
Once inside, Son Gohan quickly shut the door, then took out a strand of hair that had fallen out earlier and turned it into a copy of himself.
"You can study for me later!"
"Okay!"
The clone nodded.
Seeing this, Son Gohan used Instant Transmission and appeared atop the peak where Piccolo was training.
Piccolo was meditating when he sensed Son Gohan's ki and immediately opened his eyes.
"Gohan!"
"Uncle Piccolo!"
Son Gohan replied at once.
"Gohan, didn't you go home? What are you doing here?"
"My mom wants me to study, but I don't really want to, so I came here!"
"I see! But won't your mom worry?"
"It's okay, Uncle Piccolo. I left a clone at home!"
"A clone?"
As he spoke, Son Gohan immediately plucked a strand of hair from his head and turned it into a clone of himself.
"Look, Uncle Piccolo. This is my clone!"
Piccolo stared at it in a daze.
Son Gohan's clone looked and felt exactly like him.
Unless you examined it closely, it was hard to tell them apart.
"Um, Gohan... How many of these clones can you make?"
"I don't know, but I should be able to make a few thousand without any problem!"
"A... a few thousand?"
"Yeah!"
"Can they fight?"
"Of course, but each one only has a thousandth of my power!"
"A thousandth! Can they turn into Super Saiyans?"
"If they're strong enough, I think they should be able to!"
Hearing this, Piccolo immediately imagined thousands of Super Saiyans.
If Son Gohan really became that powerful, Piccolo probably wouldn't even measure up to one of his hairs.
At the thought, Piccolo's determination to get stronger grew even firmer.
"Gohan, could you have your clone fight me?"
Piccolo couldn't beat Son Gohan himself, but surely he could take on a version of him with a thousandth of his power.
Son Gohan froze.
"Uncle Piccolo... You want to fight my clone?"
"Yeah. Is there a problem?"
Son Gohan smiled.
"No, no! I'm just a little surprised, that's all!"
He couldn't exactly tell Piccolo that he wouldn't stand a chance against the clone.
Piccolo wasn't entirely convinced.
"Well, in that case, have it fight me first."
"Oh, okay!"
Son Gohan nodded.
His clone immediately took its place in front of Piccolo.
They looked at each other, then quickly moved apart to give themselves room to fight.
"Shall we begin?" Piccolo asked the clone.
Son Gohan's clone nodded.
"Ha!"
Piccolo shouted and charged at the clone, his fist clenched.
In the blink of an eye, he reached the clone and unleashed a flurry of punches.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
Son Gohan's clone shifted slightly and dodged Piccolo's attacks with ease.
"What!"
Piccolo was startled and quickly retreated.
In a flash, Son Gohan's clone appeared in front of him and drove his right fist into Piccolo's abdomen.
Piccolo cried out in pain and was sent flying into the mountain behind him.
Son Gohan covered his face with a hand.
He'd meant to tell his clone to go easy, but Piccolo was right beside him, so he hadn't been able to say it outright.
He should've asked the system to teach him telepathy.
"Phew..."
Just then, Piccolo gasped for breath as he slowly pushed himself up from the ground.
"Ha!"
After staring at Son Gohan's clone for a moment, Piccolo charged at him again.
"Whoosh..."
Bam! Bam! Bam!!
Piccolo's fists slammed into the clone. Son Gohan's clone blocked the blows while retreating.
Boom!!
Just as Piccolo forced the clone against a mountain, the clone suddenly vanished, and Piccolo's right fist smashed into the mountainside.
"Damn it!"
Piccolo roared angrily and spun around.
At that moment, Son Gohan's clone appeared in midair and swung his right leg in a spinning kick toward Piccolo.
With a boom, Piccolo was kicked into the mountain behind him.
A huge cloud of dust billowed up from the ground.
"Whoosh..."
"Thud..."
Son Gohan's clone landed and stood calmly in front of Piccolo.
Seeing this, Son Gohan immediately flew over to his clone.
"That's Uncle Piccolo! Why did you hit him so hard?"
"But... didn't you just tell me to fight him?"
"I told you to fight him, but you didn't have to hit him so hard!"
"...But I was already holding back. I thought you wanted me to train him!"
"Crash..."
Just then, Piccolo climbed out from beneath the rocks and said,
"Gohan, don't tell your clone to hold back. Let him give me everything he's got!"
"...Okay!"
Son Gohan nodded.
Just then, someone came flying through the sky. It was Son Goku.
"Dad!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Son Goku dropped down in front of them.
Son Goku looked at Son Gohan and his clone, his face showing surprise.
"Two... two Gohans?"
"It's not two Gohans. One of them is Gohan's clone," Piccolo said, his arms folded.
"A clone?"
Piccolo nodded.
"No wonder I sensed three Gohans!"
Son Goku looked at Son Gohan himself.
"You're the real Gohan, right?"
Son Gohan nodded.
"Then is the Gohan at home also your clone?"
