Son Gohan cleared his throat.
"Let's wait until you can overcome a hundred times gravity first!"
Lagss puffed out her cheeks in frustration.
"Master, I'll overcome a hundred times gravity eventually, so why not teach me now?"
"I'll teach you eventually too, but only after you overcome a hundred times gravity!"
"You lousy master!"
Lagss couldn't help cursing him silently.
"What did you say?"
"Oh no, I forgot Master can read minds!"
Lagss's expression changed at once.
"Nothing, Master! I didn't say anything!"
Dr. Gero's laboratory.
Because Androids 17 and 18 refused to obey his orders, Dr. Gero sped up work on Android 19 and even transformed himself into an Android.
He was now standing in front of Android 19's Stasis Pod, watching the Android inside with some trepidation.
Since beginning his research on Androids, he had created a total of nineteen of them. Including himself, that made twenty.
Androids 1 through 7 had been failures. Android 8 had been a success, but he was kindhearted and eventually became friends with Son Goku.
Androids 9 through 12 had also been failures. Androids 13 through 15 were currently being built in another laboratory under the supervision of a supercomputer.
Androids 16, 17, and 18 had all been successfully created, but none of them obeyed his orders. Androids 17 and 18 had even tried to kill him.
In other words, apart from Androids 13, 14, and 15, who were still being built, not a single Android Dr. Gero had successfully created obeyed his orders.
That was why he was especially nervous about the newly created Android 19.
After watching Android 19 for a long while, Dr. Gero finally activated him.
