"You can't beat me!" Broly grinned triumphantly, crossing his arms and mimicking Prince Vegeta's pose, though his attempt was clumsy and comical.
Prince Vegeta felt a sharp stab in his heart, his expression darkening, but he had no retort.
Reiz put a hand to his forehead, looking helpless.
This situation escalated into a fight!
But Prince Vegeta is really unlucky...
Following me, with Broly around, he's bound to suffer a lot in the future.
Broly, meanwhile, emerged wearing new armor, looking invigorated.
It was a spare Saiyan battle suit, fitting him reasonably well.
He walked to the table, picked up a bottle of mineral water, hugged it possessively, and began to drink greedily, a look of pure enjoyment on his face.
"Reiz, heal me!" Prince Vegeta gritted his teeth, wincing in pain as he approached Reiz, speaking quickly.
He pointed to the injuries on his face, looking at Reiz pitifully.
"What are you thinking? Do you really think healing doesn't consume energy!" Reiz scolded him irritably, glaring at Prince Vegeta. "These minor injuries don't need healing at all."
"Damn it!" Prince Vegeta gnashed his teeth in anger, but was powerless.
He rubbed the injuries on his face, gasping in pain.
Suddenly, he seemed to remember something, his eyes lighting up.
"Then... then teach me Ultra Instinct! I want to learn!" Prince Vegeta looked at Reiz expectantly.
"This kind of thing requires Linoshi's consent first," Reiz said with a smile, looking at Linoshi.
Prince Vegeta immediately shifted his gaze to Linoshi, seeking her approval.
"I... I don't have any objections," Linoshi said quickly.
"See, she doesn't object!" Prince Vegeta was ecstatic, nearly jumping for joy.
"However... Prince Vegeta might not be able to learn Ultra Instinct," Linoshi added, her tone hesitant.
"W-what did you say? You said I can't learn it!" Prince Vegeta asked in surprise, his smile freezing on his face.
"Yes, with Prince Vegeta's state of mind, it's not very suitable for cultivating Ultra Instinct," Linoshi shook her head gently, her blue eyes looking at him earnestly.
"Don't be ridiculous! Just tell me how to cultivate it! Don't worry about anything else! I, Prince Vegeta, refuse to believe I can't learn Ultra Instinct!" Prince Vegeta scoffed, crossing his arms and tilting his chin high.
Reiz chuckled and said no more.
Immediately, he shared all his insights on cultivating Ultra Instinct with Prince Vegeta.
"First, you must cast aside distracting thoughts and enter a state of no-mind..."
Reiz's voice echoed through the spaceship, and Prince Vegeta listened intently, nodding occasionally.
Time ticked by, second by second.
Prince Vegeta sat cross-legged on the floor of the training room, his brow furrowed, his small face contorted with effort.
He tried desperately to think of nothing, but the harder he tried, the more chaotic his mind became.
One moment he thought of how pathetic he looked after being beaten by Broly, the next he thought of Reiz's terrifying Combat Power, and then of Frieza's number, 120 million.
He scratched his head in frustration, his hair becoming a mess from his own tugging, completely unable to enter a state of no-mind.
"Reiz, are you sure this is how you cultivate it?" Prince Vegeta felt his heart seize up, and he abruptly opened his eyes, asking urgently, his tone impatient.
"I told you it wouldn't work, but you insisted on trying!" Reiz scolded him irritably, glancing at him.
Then, Reiz beckoned to Broly, who was still drinking from his water bottle: "Come here for a moment!"
"Don't take my water!" Broly clutched his bottle protectively, looking warily at Reiz and hugging the bottle even tighter.
Reiz: "..."
He's even learned to guard his food!
"Hmph, who would want your water? There's plenty of water there, drink as much as you want," Prince Vegeta rolled his eyes at Broly, pointing to the case of mineral water in the corner.
Broly bared his teeth at Prince Vegeta, showing a fierce expression, before obediently walking over, though he still held his water bottle tightly.
"Did you understand the cultivation method for Ultra Instinct that I just explained?" Reiz asked.
Broly shook his head blankly, his eyes darting to the water bottle in his hand, afraid someone would snatch it.
"Stop joking, Reiz. If I can't cultivate it, how could he possibly learn it!" Prince Vegeta snorted, a smug look on his face, feeling much more balanced.
He crossed his arms, his chin slightly raised, finally regaining a sliver of superiority.
"Um... is there a possibility that only Reiz is suited to cultivate Ultra Instinct..." Linoshi interjected shyly, her voice soft, as if afraid of discouraging Prince Vegeta.
Although Linoshi's voice was quiet, Prince Vegeta caught it keenly.
"You said only Reiz is suited to cultivate Ultra Instinct?" Prince Vegeta paused, looking confused, and glanced sideways at Linoshi, asking, "Then can you?"
"Ah? Me?" Linoshi seemed flustered, her blue eyes flickered, and she quickly said, "I... I only know a little bit!"
She lowered her head, her fingers beginning to rub the hem of her Battle Suit again.
"Let's not talk about that for now. I'll find suitable cultivation skills for you later," Reiz said with a smile, waving his hand gently to give Vegeta an out.
"Forget it, I'll just continue cultivating the Saiyan way," Vegeta replied, a look of disappointment on his face as he sighed.
Speaking of which, Vegeta suddenly thought of something and turned to look at Broly, who was still drinking water.
"Hey, Broly, you're a Saiyan too, right?" Vegeta glanced at Broly and asked.
"I don't know," Broly scratched his head, looking bewildered.
"Then why did you attack me?" Vegeta asked again, his brow furrowed.
"My dad told me to beat you up, to beat you to death, it's that simple," Broly replied truthfully, his tone flat.
As soon as his father was mentioned, Broly began to well up with tears again, his eyes turning red.
He then took a big gulp of water, forcing the tears back down.
The gulping sounds were particularly clear in the Training Room.
Vegeta: "..."
"Do I have a grudge against your father?" Vegeta asked, frowning and speaking irritably.
"My dad didn't say," Broly shook his head and continued to drink water.
"I seem to have heard something about this," Reiz mused, his gaze falling on Broly.
"About what?" Vegeta was taken aback and looked up at Reiz.
"You and Broly were born in the same batch of Saiyans. It's said that when the King saw your Combat Power, he was immediately excited," Reiz explained with a smile.
"Of course! My Combat Power when I was born was very high, I'm a super genius warrior!" Vegeta said with a confident smile, puffing out his chest.
"And then, the King saw Broly's Combat Power value and seemed to be startled," Reiz said with a slight smile, his tone carrying a hint of deeper meaning.
