"W-what did you say?" Vegeta suddenly felt a bad premonition, the smile on his face freezing in place.
"Not long after, I heard that the King had exiled Broly to a rather remote planet," Reiz continued, adding, "Because of this, Broly's father, Paragus, was absolutely furious. It seems he even had a falling out with the King, then boarded a spaceship to chase after him! From that day on, those two vanished without a trace. I just never expected they would be on Planet Vampa."
"Such a thing happened?" Vegeta was stunned, his mind struggling to process the information as his mouth hung open.
"You've been to that planet, too. The environment there is extremely harsh; there isn't even the most basic drinking water," Reiz sighed, shaking his head. "It's no wonder Paragus was angry when he suddenly ran into you!"
"That's not the point. I just want to know, what was Broly's Combat Power when he was born?" Vegeta asked, his curiosity piqued and his eyes betraying a hint of nervousness.
Broly didn't seem very interested in these matters; he hugged his mineral water bottle and took another drink, his face full of satisfaction.
Perhaps, for Broly, mineral water was the most delicious thing in the world.
"As for that, I only heard about it later," Reiz mused, recalling the memory. "I heard the staff at the time whispering about it—it seems Broly's Combat Power at birth was 10,000."
"Y-y-you... you've got to be joking, right?" Vegeta stammered, gasping in shock as his eyes widened to the size of saucers.
A Combat Power of 10,000!
To have a Combat Power of 10,000 the moment he was born!
If that were true, then reaching a Combat Power of 500,000 now should be a breeze for him, right?
Vegeta felt as if he had been struck by lightning, his entire worldview reeling from the impact.
"If my guess is correct, Broly must be the legendary Super Saiyan that Frieza fears the most," a smile appeared on Reiz's face.
"What? The legendary Super Saiyan?" Vegeta was dumbfounded, his mouth agape, unable to speak for a long time.
He stared blankly at Broly, that guy who was still foolishly drinking water, unable to reconcile him with the title of "legendary Super Saiyan."
"What does that mean?" Broly, however, looked completely bewildered. He scratched his head, looking from Vegeta to Reiz, having no idea what they were talking about.
"That doesn't add up, though!" Vegeta suddenly felt something was wrong, his brows knitting together. "If Broly is the legendary Super Saiyan, then what about you? Your Combat Power is even higher than his, isn't it?"
"By all logic, my Combat Power shouldn't be as high as Broly's," Reiz smiled, shaking his head. "I simply found the right way for me to train, that is all."
Vegeta fell silent, lost in deep thought.
"All of this is thanks to Linoshi!" Reiz expressed his sincere gratitude to Linoshi, his gaze softening as he looked at her. "Perhaps I was born to master Ultra Instinct!"
"You're welcome..." Linoshi waved her hand gently, feeling shy, her cheeks flushing slightly.
"Just... just because you found a training method that suits you?" Vegeta murmured, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Is there really a training method that is perfectly suited to oneself?
Then what is my, Vegeta's, training method?
"Reflect on it well!" Reiz patted Vegeta on the shoulder and turned to leave the Training Room.
Vegeta remained where he was, frozen in a daze, his brows furrowed as he pondered this profound question.
Broly, meanwhile, continued to sip his mineral water, getting happier with every gulp, his face filled with a satisfied smile.
The vast starry sky, the boundless universe.
Frieza's spaceship.
The massive main hall was brightly lit, with various instruments flashing with eerie blue light.
Frieza remained seated in his stroller-like hovercraft, suspended in mid-air. He squinted his triangular eyes, an icy aura radiating from his body.
Zarbon walked in from outside, approached Frieza, and bowed respectfully.
"Is there any word from Cui?" Frieza asked, his eyes narrowed and his tone cold.
"Lord Frieza... Cui has also lost contact!" Zarbon's voice was low, his head bowed as he dared not look at Frieza.
"What? Don't tell me he was killed by Reiz and Vegeta as well?" Frieza snorted, his irritation growing as his fingers tapped lightly against the armrest.
"Lord Frieza, would you like me to go and see for myself?" Zarbon asked, looking up at Frieza.
"They have already flown very, very far away. By the time you catch up, the opportunity will have long passed." Frieza narrowed his triangular eyes, his gaze turning even colder, and the aura around him dropping several degrees.
Zarbon realized that was true.
Even if he took the fastest spaceship to pursue them now, it would take at least several days to catch up.
The problem was that not a single piece of information had been sent back from that sector; they had no idea what had happened.
"Send the Ginyu Force!" Frieza thought for a moment and made his decision.
"You want to deploy the Ginyu Force?" Zarbon was slightly startled, surprised. "There's no need to dispatch them."
"Mr. Zarbon," Berryblue, who was standing to the side, smiled and took over the conversation. "I believe deploying the Ginyu Force is the best option at the moment; it will resolve this matter much faster! Besides, the Ginyu Force happens to be operating in that vicinity."
"That's right. Contact the Ginyu Force immediately and have them track down Vegeta and Reiz!" Frieza issued his command, his tone brooks no argument.
"Yes, Lord Frieza!" Zarbon and Berryblue bowed in unison.
Five days later.
Planet Cereal.
The Spaceship pierced through the atmosphere and descended slowly onto a vast, open plain.
Outside the porthole, a peculiar planet revealed itself.
The ground was covered in vast stretches of purple vegetation, their leaves swaying gently in the breeze like a violet ocean.
The sky was unexpectedly blue, as clear as Earth's, with a few white clouds drifting by.
The landing gear of the Spaceship touched the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Creak—"
The cabin door opened slowly.
Reiz took Linoshi by the hand and flew out from within, landing on this land ahead of the others.
Beneath their feet was soft, purple grass, and the air carried a faint, refreshing fragrance.
Broly and Vegeta followed closely behind, looking around with curiosity.
Broly widened his eyes as he gazed at the purple plants, unable to resist crouching down to touch them, his face full of wonder.
Vegeta, however, stood with his arms crossed, scrutinizing this strange planet with a critical expression.
"Why come to a planet like this?" Vegeta asked, frowning in confusion.
"Speak less, observe more." Reiz glared at Vegeta, annoyed by his chatter, then praised Broly, "Look at Broly; he hasn't said a word."
"That's because he doesn't talk much! He doesn't know what to say!" Vegeta argued back indignantly, pointing at Broly, who was still touching the grass.
"Observe more! Speak less!" Broly mimicked Reiz, standing up and glaring at Vegeta with a perfect imitation.
Vegeta: "..."
