Major Revisions to the Chapter Explanation

As the title suggests, following the critiques from you experts and my own reflection, I have discovered that yesterday's Chapter 17 and the plot I had originally planned to write next contain major issues, including but not limited to a nonsensical storyline and the protagonist's moral corruption. Consequently, I have spent the night performing a massive overhaul.
