"Bai Ye wants to talk to that scruffy man?"
Rogue looked down at Sabretooth beneath Bai Ye's feet. Despite being so badly injured, this man still was not dead?
She obediently nodded without asking any further questions, then left the alley and waited at its entrance.
After Rogue had gone some distance away, Bai Ye removed his foot from Sabretooth's head, allowing him to lift his face out of the dirt again.
"Kid, do you know who you've messed with?" Sabretooth climbed up from the ground, his shattered bones and other wounds already completely healed. "We're from the Mutant Brotherhood."
"I know. You're exactly who I was looking for."
Faced with Sabretooth casually revealing his own organization like some street punk, Bai Ye rolled his eyes. "Pass a message to Magneto for me. I know he's working on a machine that can turn humans into mutants."
"But the machine he created has serious flaws. Don't rush into testing it. Three days from now, at this same time, I want to have a proper talk with him."
Seeing Sabretooth's eyes widen in disbelief, Bai Ye raised an eyebrow. "Do you have any questions now? If not, get lost."
"How do you know about our plan?" Sabretooth asked.
Only Magneto and a handful of others knew about the organization's plan. How had this guy found out?
"That's none of your concern. Just deliver my message to him properly." After saying that, Bai Ye turned around and slowly strolled out of the alley, ignoring Sabretooth behind him.
Behind him, after hesitating for a while, Sabretooth decided to report what had happened to Magneto despite his failed mission.
