Background / History

Na'er was found alone in an alley in Proud Arrival City, frightened and being harassed by hoodlums. Tang Wulin attempted to protect her, while Tang Linyuan drove the attackers away; his protection was the first thing to break through her previously hollow demeanor 3.

Unable to locate her family, Tang Ziran and Lang Yue formally accepted her into the Tang family. She grew up with Tang Linyuan and Tang Wulin as their younger sister, showing particular affection for both brothers and quietly caring for Tang Wulin during meals 5.

As a child, Na'er was mocked for apparently not having awakened a Martial Soul. Although she endured the bullying quietly, Tang Linyuan and Tang Wulin waited for and protected her 14.

Na'er later left the Tang home without notice, dissolving into silver light after meeting the Great Beasts by the sea. Before leaving, she promised Tang Linyuan that she would wait for him 23. After four years apart, Na'er reunited with Tang Linyuan at Shrek Academy.
