Byakugan: Pressure

Hyuga Shinichi's Byakugan snapped open, and a wave of pressure engulfed the two people watching in the courtyard. The force nearly knocked them off their feet.

The pressure vanished as quickly as it had appeared, and Hyuga Shinichi dropped to his knees, gasping for breath.

Uzumaki Mito, who hadn't been startled by the pressure, stepped forward and helped Hyuga Shinichi up.

"How are you, Shinichi?"

Uzumaki Mito looked at him with concern.

Hyuga Shinichi managed a faint smile and shook his head to show that he was fine, just a little drained.

Jiraiya came back to his senses and couldn't help exclaiming in amazement.

"What was that just now? The Byakugan can do that?"

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Two figures quickly appeared beside Jiraiya: Tsunade and Dan Katō. They had both sensed something in their sleep, woken up immediately, and rushed to the courtyard.

"Jiraiya, what happened?"

"Shinichi... Shinichi used a Byakugan ability we've never seen before."

Jiraiya spoke gravely.

Tsunade looked at Hyuga Shinichi, who was pale and exhausted, her heart filled with confusion and concern. Seeing this, Dan Katō also offered his analysis.

In the end, Jiraiya and Nawaki helped Hyuga Shinichi back to his room to rest.

"Nearly perfect... purity... Byakugan. An Otsutsuki... No, just the Byakugan... Has it reverted to its ancestral form?"

Hearing the voice, Hyuga Shinichi tried to make out his surroundings, but couldn't.

Suddenly, a dazzling white light shone from somewhere in the space. He instinctively raised a hand to shield his eyes.

When Hyuga Shinichi opened his eyes again, he found himself in an unfamiliar place. An old man in a white robe stood before him, his face covered in wrinkles.

A pair of short white horns grew from either side of his forehead. He had long white hair and a pair of unmistakable Byakugan, and his entire being radiated a mysterious, ancient aura.

As a reincarnated person, Hyuga Shinichi knew exactly who this was: the Sage of Six Paths' younger brother, Hamura Otsutsuki, ancestor of the Otsutsuki Clan on the moon and their descendants, the Hyuga Clan.

"Who are you?"

Even though Hyuga Shinichi knew who the man was, he still pretended to be wary. After all, he had no idea what was going on.

The old man smiled faintly.

"My name is Hamura Otsutsuki. You could say I'm your ancestor."

"Then why have you appeared in my dream?"

The old man spoke slowly.

"When I sensed the Byakugan awakening, I manifested in the form of chakra."

Hyuga Shinichi couldn't help feeling puzzled.

In the original story, even after the Sage of Six Paths died, his chakra continued to drift through the world, silently protecting the ninja world.

But hadn't his brother simply left instructions for the Otsutsuki Clan on the moon, then passed away peacefully after a long life? Shinichi had never heard of him doing anything like this.

Hamura Otsutsuki paid no heed to Hyuga Shinichi's puzzled expression and continued.

"Child, your Byakugan is exceptionally pure—nearly perfect, in fact. Apart from my mother's, I've never seen another Byakugan with such purity. But you haven't fully mastered it yet."

Hyuga Shinichi's expression turned solemn and respectful. He bowed slightly and asked in a sincere voice,

"Ancestor, what must I do to fully master the Byakugan?"

Hamura Otsutsuki said nothing. He extended a finger and lightly tapped the air. A sphere of light flew toward Hyuga Shinichi and merged into his body.

Hyuga Shinichi suddenly felt a warm stream flowing through him like a clear spring. Wherever it passed, it brought a pleasant, refreshing sensation.

This mysterious power quickly spread to every corner of his body, as if breathing new life and vitality into every cell.

As the power continued to gather and merge with him, Hyuga Shinichi was astonished to discover that his Byakugan had undergone a wondrous change!
