West Court, Main Training Hall.
Usually, few fighters came here to train. They all had their own private training rooms, which were more than enough most of the time.
But today, the place was unusually lively. At a glance, almost all of West Court's Contracted Fighters were there, including two who had been forced into retirement by their injuries.
Chen Chong was among them, too.
He stood in a corner, a long way from both groups of people who stood distinctly apart from each other in the Training Room.
At the front of the crowd stood a table, with an imposing man on either side.
One was a slightly chubby, middle-aged man wearing a white silk training shirt. The other was a young man with neatly parted hair and a brown leather jacket, whose appearance was refined and proper.
They were Yuan Jinhua and Wang Zhiren.
Yuan Jinhua swept his gaze over the crowd, pausing briefly at the corner. Seeing that everyone had arrived, he smiled faintly.
"You all know why you're here today, right?"
As soon as Yuan Jinhua asked, one of his men called out in support:
"Of course. The Selection Arena! We're going to beat those skullheads!"
"Boss Yuan called us here to draw lots, right?"
Yuan Jinhua nodded.
"You all know that the company and the Skull Gang have been at odds for a long time. A while ago, the General Manager even had a little 'discussion' with Gu Jian, the Skull Gang's leader. Things have been pretty unsettled lately.
"Normally, the Security Department guys would be the ones charging into the fray, so we wouldn't have to worry about it. But they're useless! They haven't been able to get it done, and the whole situation keeps getting worse. It's even affecting the foot traffic on
