Escaping Konoha

"Release!!"

The Anbu members from the sealing squad shouted in unison.

The circular Chakra barrier enveloping this space rippled violently, as if a tremendous force was tearing through it. After a few seconds of stalemate, a crack appeared in the Chakra barrier.

"All combat personnel, follow me in."

Hiruzen Sarutobi took the lead, stepping into the barrier.

On the other side, at the secret passage entrance within the Uchiha compound, Shimura Danzo also stood guard with his men, having set up a barrier as well.

This time, no Uchiha would escape.

"Oh? It seems they've figured out a way to counter space-time ninjutsu?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi ordered loudly, wielding the Enlarging Staff, suddenly enlarging it and slamming it towards Itachi's Susanoo body.

"Yes, Third Hokage."

An Anbu ninja nodded in agreement, and immediately a group of them stepped forward in unison.

They removed their masks, their hands moving rapidly in sync.

The next second, Mingyou appeared on Susanoo's shoulder, turning his head to look at Itachi and saying in a deep voice, "That's enough playing around, let's go."

"Amaterasu!"

Mingyou's eyes narrowed slightly as large patches of black flames covered the barrier's light membrane.

Soon, a large hole was broken in the barrier. Itachi controlled Susanoo, striding out of the barrier before dispelling Susanoo.

Mingyou flew forward, placing a hand on Itachi's shoulder and pulling him into the Kamui dimension.

"Mingyou, Itachi, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

Mikoto, who had been anxiously waiting on the sidelines, finally had her worried expression ease as she saw her two sons return, rushing over to them.

She pulled her two sons over, looking them up and down, and only after confirming that they were both unharmed did she finally breathe a sigh of relief.

"We're fine, don't worry, Mom."

Mingyou smiled slightly, reported back to the clan that they were safe, and then stepped out of the Kamui dimension once more, continuing on their journey.

Compared to Itachi, who would suffer significant aftereffects from using Amaterasu, Mingyou found that his own use of Amaterasu had no other discomforts besides a cooldown period.

It seemed that this was also thanks to the system.
