So there were such deep-rooted connections behind it all.
Yet from the sound of it, the Uchiha Clan was also a victim.
The person who had controlled the Nine-Tails and attacked Konoha had indeed been from the Uchiha Clan.
But that incident had been instigated by Uchiha Obito.
Uchiha Obito had suffered through the pain of war in the shinobi world and lost the girl he loved most, which was why he had become psychologically twisted and done such a thing.
But that wasn't the point.
The point was that the Nine-Tails Incident had nothing to do with the other Uchiha Clan members.
In the end, the Nine-Tails Incident had merely pushed forward and intensified the conflict between both sides ahead of time. It was not the primary cause.
Even without the Nine-Tails Incident, the two sides would eventually have reached their current situation.

Instead, it was a rather secluded, low building in eastern Konoha.
The moment he saw that building, Mingyou recognized it immediately from the original story. It was where Naruto Uzumaki, the original story's protagonist, lived.
Could Fugaku's goal be to capture Naruto Uzumaki, undo the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style on him, release the Nine-Tails, and use the Mangekyō Sharingan to control it and wreak havoc?
Sure enough, events unfolded exactly as Mingyou had predicted.
With a few leaps, Fugaku reached the second floor of that small building. After kicking open the door, he dragged the young Naruto Uzumaki out from inside.
Then, in front of the clan members, he undid the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style on Naruto Uzumaki's abdomen.
Immediately afterward, a massive amount of red Chakra surged from Naruto Uzumaki's abdomen, and the Nine-Tails' head gradually took shape.
It bared its fangs and roared viciously, its entire body forming from that red Chakra.
But before the Nine-Tails could make any move, Fugaku leaped forward and controlled it with his Mangekyō Sharingan.
The controlled Nine-Tails became exceptionally violent, constantly raising its head to gather Tailed Beast Balls and firing attacks throughout Konoha.
Deafening explosions rang out one after another. Not a single Konoha villager escaped disaster; all of them died amid the rebellion and chaos.
And the late-arriving Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō led Konoha's ninja into a fierce battle against the Uchiha Clan.
