"I know." Ice Empress replied with an annoyed huff. Her figure flashed and vanished into the blizzard.

A moment later, she returned.

With her was a giant dragon, frozen solid from head to tail.

The dragon was over ten meters long, its entire body covered in gleaming ice-blue scales. Its horns looked carved from ice crystals, and its eyes blazed with fury, though it couldn't move. Even subdued, the pressure of its true dragon bloodline was enough to make one's heart skip a beat.

"Twelve thousand years." Ice Empress tossed the Ice Dragon to the ground and dusted off her hands, speaking casually. "That enough?"

She sounded annoyed, but her actions told a different story. This age was right at the edge of what Su Chen could currently withstand—any older, and it would be too much; any younger, and he'd lose out.

She'd judged it to perfection.

"That's enough. Thank you." Su Chen nodded.

He raised his hand, and the Angel Holy Sword coalesced in his grip.

A flash of swordlight, and the Ice Dragon was dead.

A profound black Soul Ring slowly rose from its corpse, radiating powerful energy.

Ice Empress stood to one side, watching quietly.
