In the Flower Capital of Wano Country, in the New World.

Dancers filled the sprawling courtyard.

At their head was a young woman with long, pale-blue hair swept up in an elaborate style that set off her stunning beauty.

Her steps were as graceful as flowers opening, and every glance and smile made her all the more alluring.

Her lovely eyes kept drifting toward the two men drinking at the head of the gathering.

She paid particular attention to the one whose towering build was like a mountain.

"Komurasaki, why do you keep staring at Kaido today? Am I not handsome enough for you? Come have a few drinks with me!" Shogun Orochi called out drunkenly.

Komurasaki quickly snapped out of her reverie. She signaled for the dancing to stop, gave a smiling bow, and said, "Shogun Orochi, you make it sound as though I'm terribly shallow."

"How could you not catch my eye? I'm only curious why Admiral Kaido seems so unhappy today. Was my dancing not to his liking, or have you and he grown tired of me?"

Her light voice carried a note of wounded self-pity.

With the guilt and hurt written across her face, she looked all the more pitiable.

Seeing her brows droop and tears gather in her eyes, Orochi hurriedly got up to comfort her. "Komurasaki, don't misunderstand. I can't dote on you enough. How could I grow tired of you?"

"As for Kaido, he just had a setback overseas. That's why he's here drinking away his anger!"

"Admiral Kaido had a setback?" Komurasaki froze.

She had spent all this time undercover at Orochi's side.

She had learned a great deal about Kaido of the Beasts.

Wano Country did cling to its old policy of isolation.
