Obito Uchiha

Naruto saw that the members of the Uchiha Clan had all departed. Having heard everything he needed to hear, he saw no reason to linger and turned to leave.

While Naruto had been cloaked in invisibility, he had sensed another presence in the void nearby.

At that moment, Naruto had already identified him: his father's disciple, Obito Uchiha.

Obito Uchiha could arguably be considered the individual with the most volatile emotions within the Uchiha Clan, as well as the one possessing the strongest Sharingan.

During the Third Great Ninja War, he was assigned to a logistics squad and sent to the front lines. When Rin Nohara was captured during a mission, Obito ignored Kakashi's objections and charged into enemy territory to rescue her. Due to his impulsiveness, he underestimated the risks, and just as he was about to be struck, Kakashi appeared in time to save him. However, the enemy's strength was not to be underestimated; another lapse in judgment by Obito cost Kakashi his left eye. Seeing this, Obito experienced a violent emotional surge, instantly awakening his two-tomoe Sharingan.

Awakening with two tomoe was an unprecedented feat in the history of the Uchiha Clan; even the strongest, Madara Uchiha, had only awakened with two tomoe.

With his strength surging after awakening his eyes, he killed the ninja who had wounded Kakashi.

This event was witnessed by Zetsu, who was scouting the battlefield at the time, and subsequently reported to Madara Uchiha through special means.

Later, the two joined forces to rescue Rin Nohara from a cave. As they fled, the enemy collapsed the cave entrance with Earth Release. Because of the blind spot in Kakashi's left eye, he failed to dodge a falling rock; Obito pushed him out of the way but was crushed himself, left in a critical, near-death state.

Before dying, he asked Rin Nohara to transplant his eye into Kakashi as a gift for his promotion to Jonin. After making Kakashi promise to protect Rin Nohara, the three parted ways. Later, Obito Uchiha was declared dead, and his name was carved onto the memorial stone in Konoha.

After Kakashi left with Rin Nohara, Zetsu appeared and rescued Obito, bringing him before Madara Uchiha.

Madara Uchiha used Hashirama Senju's cells to keep Obito Uchiha alive and reconstructed the half of his body that had been crushed by the boulder.

Looking at the Obito Uchiha before him, Madara Uchiha formulated a series of plans targeting him.

Later, Rin Nohara had a seal placed on her heart by Madara Uchiha and was implanted with the Three-Tails to destroy Konoha. Because the seal prevented her from harming herself, Rin chose to die by Kakashi's Chidori to protect the village.

This scene was intentionally shown to Obito Uchiha by Zetsu. He suffered a mental breakdown, and numerous spikes erupted from the side of his body reconstructed with Hashirama Senju's cells.

The two tomoe within his scarlet eyes spun frantically, eventually skipping the three-tomoe stage entirely and evolving into the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Upon the emergence of the Mangekyo Sharingan, he awakened the ability to phase through objects. Using this power and the Wood Release he had inadvertently tapped into, he slaughtered all the Mist ninja in the vicinity.

After killing the last one, he collapsed from the excessive strain on his ocular power, and Zetsu brought him back to Madara Uchiha.

From then on, he remained with Madara Uchiha, who began a campaign of intense brainwashing until Obito Uchiha was completely corrupted.

After Madara Uchiha's death, Obito Uchiha continued to execute the plans laid out during his lifetime.

He had returned this time because Zetsu had scouted the current state of Konoha, and he decided to return to collect some Sharingan.

The Sharingan possesses an ultimate ocular technique known as Izanagi.

Its function is to record the user's state at the moment of activation. Within the effective duration of the technique (which varies per person), any damage sustained by the user—even death—can be physically reversed to the state recorded by the Sharingan (though the user's consumed chakra is not restored, and the eye used for the technique is not included in the restoration). The cost is that the eye used for Izanagi loses its light forever.

In other words, every Sharingan one possesses is an extra life.

Naruto, still invisible, suppressed the urge to walk up and kick him to death, then turned and left. Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki had told Naruto that once they learned of Obito Uchiha's actions, they would handle him personally.

Naruto didn't ask what they planned to do, but since he had given them his word, he would leave him be for now.

After leaving the Uchiha Clan, Naruto arrived at the headquarters of Root. He had left a mark in the passage during his last intrusion with Jiraiya, so after performing the Flying Thunder God, he arrived directly inside the tunnel.

Remaining invisible, Naruto walked inside. Shimura Danzō was sitting on his throne, head bowed, muttering to himself.

Ensuring he remained undetected, Naruto moved a little closer and heard Shimura Danzō say, "Hiruzen, you forced my hand. Don't worry, after you die, I will succeed you as Hokage. When that time comes, I will slowly erase all evidence that you ever existed. I am the true, strongest Hokage."

Naruto shook his head in silence, left a mark on the back of the throne, and departed.

Although Shimura Danzō felt something suddenly vanish behind him, he turned to see nothing there. Dismissing it as an illusion, he shook his head and returned to his delusions.

After visiting these two locations, Naruto returned home. His original plan was essentially complete; the rest could wait until tomorrow.

Early the next morning, Naruto finished his cultivation at the sound of a knock on the door. He opened it to find Jiraiya standing there, reeking of alcohol.

Pinching his nose, Naruto said with a look of disgust, "Pervy Sage, you're about to turn back into that middle-aged uncle you used to be."

"Oh, come on, just a little indulgence now and then. It's fine, I know my limits," Jiraiya said nonchalantly.

Naruto stepped aside to let Jiraiya in, then closed the door.

After Jiraiya entered, Naruto told him to take a shower and then rest on the bed, while he himself had more errands to run.

Just like the night before, Naruto used his invisibility to visit the homes of Hiruzen Sarutobi, Utatane Koharu, and Mitokado Homura. He left marks in their living rooms and bedrooms before returning home.

Back home, seeing Jiraiya fast asleep, Naruto didn't disturb him. He sat down and began searching through his memories for martial arts techniques.

Finally, Naruto found a claw technique called Soul-Flying Claw and a secret art called Aura Burst.

The Soul-Flying Claw was for Kurama. Last time he let Kurama fight, Naruto noticed that his attack style, aside from the crushing power of the Tailed Beast Bomb, was nothing but raw output, lacking any finesse.
