Uchiha Obito

Naruto saw that everyone from the Uchiha Clan had left. He had heard everything he needed to hear, so he didn't linger and turned to leave.

While Naruto had been invisible and eavesdropping, he had sensed someone else nearby, hidden in the void.

He had figured out who it was then: his father's student, Obito Uchiha.

Obito Uchiha could be considered the most emotionally volatile member of the Uchiha Clan, and the one with the strongest Sharingan.

During the Third Shinobi World War, he had been assigned to a logistics squad but still went to the battlefield. While carrying out a mission, Rin Nohara was captured. Ignoring Kakashi's objections, Obito charged into enemy territory to rescue her. His impulsiveness made him underestimate the danger around him. Just as the enemy was about to attack him, Kakashi arrived in time to save him. But their opponents were formidable, and Obito's next mistake cost Kakashi his left eye. Seeing this, Obito was overcome by intense emotion and awakened his Two-Tomoe Sharingan in an instant.

Awakening with two tomoe was unprecedented in the history of the Uchiha Clan. Even the strongest Uchiha, Madara, had awakened with only two tomoe.

After awakening, Obito's strength surged, and he killed the ninja who had injured Kakashi.

Zetsu had witnessed this while gathering intelligence on the battlefield and later informed Madara through a special method.

Afterward, Obito and Kakashi joined forces to rescue Rin from the cave. The enemy used Earth Release from outside to collapse the cave. As the three escaped, Kakashi failed to dodge a boulder because of the blind spot in his left eye. Obito shoved him out of the way but was crushed himself, left on the brink of death.

Before he died, Obito asked Rin to transplant his eye into Kakashi as a gift to congratulate him on becoming a jonin. He asked Kakashi to protect Rin, and then the three of them parted ways. Obito was later declared dead, and his name was carved into Konoha's Memorial Stone.

After Kakashi and Rin left, Zetsu appeared. He rescued Obito and took him to Madara.

Using Hashirama Senju's cells, Madara kept Obito alive and rebuilt the half of his body that had been crushed by the boulder.

As Madara looked at Obito, he devised a series of plans centered on him.

Later, Madara placed a curse seal over Rin's heart and implanted the Three-Tails inside her, planning to use her to destroy Konoha. Since the curse seal prevented her from harming herself, Rin chose to die by Kakashi's Chidori to protect Konoha.

Obito saw it all because Zetsu had deliberately led him there. He broke down, and numerous spikes grew from the right side of his body, which had been constructed using Hashirama Senju's cells.

The two tomoe in his scarlet eyes spun wildly. In the end, they skipped straight past three tomoe and evolved into a Mangekyō Sharingan.

When his Mangekyō Sharingan awakened, he gained the ability to turn intangible. Using that ability and the Wood Release he activated without thinking, he killed all the Kirigakure Ninja nearby.

After killing the last one, he passed out from overusing his ocular power. Zetsu then took him back to Madara.

After that, Obito stayed with Madara, who began relentlessly brainwashing him until he had completely fallen into darkness.

After Madara's death, Obito continued to carry out the plan Madara had made before he died.

He had returned this time because Zetsu had discovered the state of affairs in Konoha, and Obito had decided to collect some Sharingan.

The Sharingan possessed an ultimate ocular technique called Izanagi.

The moment it was activated, the technique recorded the user's state in the Sharingan. For the duration of the technique—which varied from person to person—it could physically restore any damage the user suffered, even death, to the state recorded by the Sharingan. While still invisible, Naruto suppressed his urge to rush over and kick Obito to death, then turned and left. Minato and Kushina had told Naruto they would deal with Obito themselves once they learned what he had done.

Naruto hadn't asked what they planned to do, but since he had already agreed to leave it to them, he would hold off on going after Obito for now.

Still invisible, Naruto walked inside. Shimura Danzō was sitting on his throne, his head bowed as he murmured to himself.

After making sure he hadn't been noticed, Naruto moved a little closer. He heard Shimura Danzō say, "Hiruzen, you forced my hand. Don't worry. After you die, I'll take over the Hokage Position. Then I'll slowly erase all evidence that you ever existed. I'm the strongest Hokage."

Naruto shook his head, speechless. He left a mark on the back of Danzō's chair, then left.

Danzō sensed something behind him suddenly disappear. But when he turned around, there was nothing there. He dismissed it as his imagination, shook his head, and resumed his daydreaming.

After visiting those two places, Naruto went home. The plan he'd made earlier was mostly complete, and he could take care of what remained tomorrow.
