Background / History

Na'er was found alone in a park in Proud Arrival City by Lin Tian. She could recall neither her home nor her family, remembering only her own name. Timid and initially wary, she accepted Lin Tian's lollipop and followed him after he offered her food and shelter. 5 6

Lin Tian brought her into his home and treated her as a younger sister, feeding her before himself despite his own extreme hunger. She became deeply attached to him, particularly after he was taken away by an Evil Soul Master. 6 34 39

Na'er shares one body with another soul, Gu Yue. The two alternate control every day at noon; while one is in control, the other remains conscious within their Mental Sea and can observe events. Gu Yue has threatened Na'er against disclosing their shared existence, leaving Na'er afraid to seek Lin Tian's help. 39

After Lin Tian returned, he took Na'er from Proud Arrival City to prevent her from being left alone and brought her to meet Han Tianyi and Leng Yaozhu. Her Martial Soul awakening revealed extraordinary potential, after which she accepted Leng Yaozhu as her teacher and traveled with the group to the Heavenly Spirit Pagoda in Shrek City. 39 40 41
