Senju Kotoha stood in front of the two, her face covered and her conspicuous golden hair wrapped in black cloth. She had also changed into a black bodysuit and was holding a Ninja Blade.
She wasn't Ueda Shin and didn't have ninjutsu falling into her lap from the heavens. She had devoted all her energy to the Breathing Technique and still hadn't mastered the Transformation Technique, so she could only disguise herself by changing clothes.
At school, she wore the bodysuit beneath a long-sleeved shirt. When she needed to change, she could quickly take off her outer layer.
"Who are you?" Ito Makoto asked, shielding Sakura behind him.
"I'm the one who's going to kill you." Senju Kotoha spoke in a rough, adult male voice.
Though she was short, her adult voice gave her the strange appearance of a dwarf.
"Surely I've done nothing to offend you, have I?" Ito Makoto pretended not to know. In truth, he had already held his body perfectly still, buying time as he absorbed Natural Energy and entered Sage Mode.
"You know very well what big shot you've offended," Senju Kotoha said vaguely.
"Could it be the Uchiha Clan? Which old geezer sent you?" Ito Makoto cried out in feigned alarm, trying to muddy the waters and distract her.
Quite a few people knew he had once belonged to the Uchiha Clan. Given Senju Kotoha's relationship with the Third Hokage, it would have been simple for her to find out about his past. There was no need to hide it.
Senju Kotoha hadn't expected this ordinary Ito Makoto to have a past no one knew about. Her offhand bluff had brought an unexpected reward.
"You're sharp," Senju Kotoha continued in her muffled voice. "Since you know, come and meet your death."
