Kotoha was a woman from Earth before transmigrating. She had watched Demon Slayer, but her knowledge of Naruto was limited: she knew Sasuke was a major character without knowing the events that would lead to his departure from Konoha 137 140 292.

When Ueda Shin confronts her as a fellow transmigrator, she falsely claims to have been a gay man in her previous life. The lie helps deflect his suspicion and unwanted attention; it is not an accurate account of her former identity 48 292.

Experimental Origin

Hiruzen tells Tsunade that Orochimaru created Kotoha through experiments using Tsunade’s cells. According to his account, Orochimaru could not reproduce the successful result despite further attempts. Kotoha shares Tsunade’s DNA and appearance but has separate memories and life experiences 144.
