Hot Spring Town
As its name suggested, the town's streets were lined with one hot spring shop after another.
Hot Spring Town had another distinctive feature.
A clear white line ran down the middle of the town's streets, dividing it in two.
That line marked the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Hot Water. Hot Spring Town had been built right on the border, representing the harmonious alliance between the two countries.
The streets were bustling with visitors from both countries who lived near the town. The influx of tourists brought the locals a good income and greatly improved the town's infrastructure. The roads were wide, and streetlights stood at regular intervals along both sides.
The two chose a shop that looked particularly upscale and had the fewest people.
"Welcome! Please, come on in!"
A sweet-looking attendant with a lovely voice bowed to them.
Obito registered, got the room key, then carried their luggage upstairs with Tsunade.
The big-sisterly Tsunade watched Obito eagerly handle the check-in and book a room with one large bed. She only smiled and said nothing.
She trusted Obito well enough. He liked to run his mouth and had a slight tendency to get handsy, but he always knew where to draw the line.
Obito was a wealthy man in disguise now, so the room he rented was naturally quite nice. As soon as they opened the door, they found a modern living room with luxurious furnishings.
After setting down the luggage, Obito said, "You go take a shower first. We've been on the road all day. I'll order dinner."
"Good. And get a bottle of sake. I feel like drinking." Tsunade appreciated her young man's thoughtfulness.
"OK!" He gave her a thumbs-up, flashing his white teeth as he struck Might Guy's signature pose.
"So silly..." Tsunade shook her head, picked up her change of clothes, and went into the bathroom.
The bathroom door was translucent, revealing a silhouette inside. Wow... the owner of this place was a real genius.
After Tsunade finished washing, she came out in a bathrobe. The dining table in the living room was already covered with delicious food and the sake she'd asked for.
Ninjas generally didn't enjoy a very high standard of living. They spent most of their time carrying out missions in the wilderness, so they couldn't afford to be particular. And ration pills tasted awful!
Life was far less carefree than it looked in the anime. After all, ninjas existed primarily as weapons of war!
"Go wash up too. You stink..." Tsunade sat down and pinched her nose in an exaggerated gesture.
"Man... if I'd known, I wouldn't have bothered ordering dinner for you. We could've just taken a couples' bath together. What a waste." Obito got up, found a bathrobe, and teased her.
The bathroom had just been used, and the air was thick with steam and still carried her scent. Obito turned on the shower, rinsed off quickly, then put on his bathrobe and went out to enjoy a lavish dinner with the beauty.
Konoha
A tall figure wandered aimlessly down the street, dressed in a red robe and wearing wooden sandals. The word "oil" on his Forehead Protector gave away his identity.
Jiraiya.
He'd already heard about Tsunade and Obito. He was heartbroken. Was he not charming enough, or did Tsunade just prefer younger men?
Never mind. He might as well head to the Bathhouse. Only beautiful women could soothe his shattered heart!
Jiraiya put on an exceedingly lecherous expression and crab-walked into the Bathhouse...
"Ah... I'm stuffed!" After eating and drinking her fill, Tsunade's cheeks were slightly flushed. She leaned back on her hands and sighed.
Her posture showed off her figure even more provocatively...
Obito was staring, dumbfounded...
"Hey... why are you getting another nosebleed? When we get back to Konoha, I'll have the hospital check you out." Tsunade sat up straight and noticed two streams of blood running from Obito's nose...
"It's nothing... I'll get someone to clean this up." He grabbed a sheet of paper to wipe his nose, then stood up.
She's way out of my league...
An hour later...
"Let's go soak in the hot spring. I asked about it when I ordered dinner, and this place's hot springs are really special."
"They even have a mixed-gender hot spring specifically for couples!"
So your true intentions are finally showing, Tsunade thought.
"Let's go."
The attendant led them to a courtyard decorated in an old-fashioned style. In the middle was a round pool, and white steam rose from the hot spring water.
"Please enjoy yourselves. I'll take my leave now." The attendant stepped out of the courtyard and closed the gate.
"You go in first and turn around!" Tsunade said.
"Sure, no problem~ Don't slack off!" Obito took off his bathrobe and jumped into the hot spring.
It was a little hot... but this really was relaxing.
After Tsunade got into the spring, she sat in the water, with only a little of her chest visible above her collarbones. "You can turn around now."
"This is so relaxing. I wish we had a hot spring at home," Tsunade said.
"Then let's stay a few more days. We're on vacation, after all. We can do whatever we want," Obito said.
"The Third Hokage only gave me half a month off. I'm not as slippery as you. You dropped out before you even graduated from the Ninja Academy."
"That's right, that's right. You're the respected legendary Sannin, Lady Tsunade."
"Splash..." Lu Ming got a face full of hot spring water when Tsunade splashed him...
"You're done for! Today, I'll show you just how powerful your Uncle Obito is!" Obito put on a vicious expression and lunged at Tsunade!
