Continuation 4: Fish Leaping Over the Dragon Gate on New Year's Eve

Zhou Shuling's fuzzy slippers couldn't get wet. They were supposedly made of wool, and she treasured them dearly. Besides, she wasn't wearing socks, and she was a little worried that if she stepped in the snow a few times, the insides of her slippers would get wet too.

So she gave Liu Chang'an a push, signaling for him to go catch Zhou Dongdong and bring her back.

Liu Chang'an did not move, so Zhou Shuling put more force into it, determined to push him into the snow as well.

But how could she possibly have that much strength? Seeing that Liu Chang'an remained utterly unmoved, Zhou Shuling turned around, braced her feet against the ground, and tried to shove him away with the part of her body that had gotten a little plumper lately.

Listening to her panting exertions behind him and feeling how her body had filled out lately—where exactly had all that flesh gone?—Liu Chang'an got distracted and actually let her push him into the snow.

She nearly fell over herself, but she was still rather pleased—until her gaze landed on Zhou Dongdong, and she immediately stamped her foot in anger again.

Zhou Dongdong was covered from head to toe in snow, like a little snowman that had been piled beneath a plane tree, suddenly grown two feet, sprung up from the snow, and started running everywhere.

"Neither of you gets breakfast later!" Zhou Shuling grabbed a handful of snow and threw it onto Liu Chang'an's back. "Go catch her already."
