Liu Chang'an has roamed the Earth for countless years while concealing his true nature behind changing names, identities, and appearances 101 772. His memories reach at least 476 BC and include events involving Zhao Wuxu; although history never recorded his name, he has been drawn into numerous periods of upheaval 15 112.

During the Han dynasty, he was Liu He while Shangguan Dandan served as Empress Dowager 881. He later lived under the identity Ye Chenyu and retains personal memories of figures such as Ye Sijin, Qin Peng, and Su Mei 91 181. He also founded the original Nine Provinces Wind and Thunder Sword Sect, whose earlier form was built around dual-cultivation techniques 514.

In modern Junsha, Liu Chang'an presents himself as an ordinary young man. He begins by taking temporary construction work near Baolong Center, then scores above 600 on the college entrance examination and enters university 1 191 273.
