Nature and Formation

True Origin is the power that carries a martial artist beyond mortal cultivation. It is refined through the dantian and spirit, transforming the crude qualities of blood and qi into a spiritual power that permeates the meridians and marrow rather than remaining limited to the skin, flesh, tendons, and bones like Force. 142

The first breakthrough requires opening the Divine Gate, connecting the Heaven and Earth Bridge, and igniting the True Origin Divine Fire. This draws Heaven and Earth Origin Power into the body, cleansing marrow, tempering meridians, repairing hidden injuries, and breaking the limits of the mortal body. 164

A cultivator’s True Origin develops a Nature Aspect, shaped by their bones, qi and blood, spirit, past cultivation, and any extraordinary resources they have absorbed. A compatible Root Method accelerates cultivation, while techniques that conflict with the user’s Nature Aspect can damage their foundation. 174

Transcendent Body

The first infusion of Heaven and Earth Origin Power strengthens the entire body, including the meridians, organs, muscles, skin, and bones. Qin Fang’s breakthrough restored old injuries, removed scars, and raised his physical strength to at least fifty-eight thousand jin. 164

External Release

True Origin can be condensed, circulated, and released outside the body. Early-stage external True Origin remains diffuse and cannot maintain a stable form for long, while refined gang is denser, sharper, and able to take lasting forms such as weapons, shields, and clones. 164 196

Root Methods and Leaf Techniques

Root Methods cultivate and refine True Origin itself, while transcendent Leaf Techniques provide specialized means to circulate and apply it. Unlike Mortal Realm techniques, True Origin Leaf Techniques require precise meridian routes, divine sense, medicinal aids, and sometimes special materials. 176

Limitations and Risks

• Opening the Divine Gate is highly dangerous. Failure can cause severe injury and damage a cultivator’s foundation. 164
• True Origin cultivation is resource-intensive; True Origin Pills can improve cultivation efficiency by two or three times. 199
• Flight through Mirror Flower, Water Moon consumes substantial True Origin. Even after reaching Great Accomplishment, Qin Fang could fly for only about an hour before exhausting himself. 190
