Demon Slayer era

After fighting Lower Rank Two Rokuro, Kujo Tachibana comprehended the Transparent World and gained complete control of his body. Thunder Breathing amplified his speed and explosive power, while Sword Heart Clarity removed blind spots from his perception. 11

As the Sound Hashira, he chose to teach Sword Heart Clarity to Himejima Gyomei rather than keep the clan method private, believing Gyomei's increased strength would save more lives. 13 He later exterminated the cannibalistic Tajima Clan and pursued the fleeing Tajima An to execute him with an Iaijutsu strike. 16

Tachibana faced Upper Moon Four Akaza after Akaza detected his mastery of the Transparent World. He evaded Akaza's ultimate technique and beheaded him with a Flying Slash. 28 29

Marine era

In the Marine recruit camp, Tachibana's advanced Armament Haki and swordsmanship impressed Instructor Zephyr, who took him for private training with the goal of raising him to Admiral-level combat ability. 72

He killed pirate captain Emerson Stevenson, acquired the Horse-Horse Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Unicorn Model, and wielded the black blade Thunder Dragon. 80 His Haki Thunder Slash later overwhelmed Great Swordsman Gion, who judged him superior to the contemporary Marine Admirals in both swordsmanship and Haki. 91

By this period, he had reached the true human limit of that world and could use Observation Haki Killer. 133

Shinobi era

Reborn into the Hatake family, Tachibana resisted Sarutobi Hiruzen's intended naming, officially adopted the name Hatake Tachibana after a month, and began cultivating chakra as an infant. Hiruzen assigned Anbu protection after sensing Tachibana's unusual nature and resistance to lightning. 148

Following the deaths of Hatake Fuhua and Yamanaka Suzune, his elder brother Hatake Sakumo became his guardian. Tachibana entered the Ninja Academy at nearly five years old, later graduated at ten, and joined Team 7 with Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Kushina under Jiraiya. 150 153 154

In a later battle against Demon Star, Tachibana discovered the effectiveness of Teleportation paired with his perception, but deliberately stopped relying on it in order to continue growing through close combat. 314
