He had thought that since Xiao Wu had met those people from the stars, she might know something about them. But Qin Chuan was sorely disappointed.

"May I ask this friend's name?" The Sky Azure Bull Python turned to look at the Scarlet King. The Titan Giant Ape also stepped aside, brimming with interest in the powerful figure who had punched him flying, his face alight with excitement.

"No need to guess. I came up from beneath the lake. I'll be accompanying him as his guardian on this trip, and we'll be away for a while."

The Scarlet King spoke blandly, pointing at Qin Chuan. His meaning was clear.

"That was just an accident. Everyone usually gets along very well. I don't know why things turned out like that last time."

"And I don't know why Xiao San did something like that, either."

Xiao Wu hurried to explain, her lovely face as pure as a blank sheet of paper. She wanted to ease the hostility between them.

Seeing how anxious Xiao Wu was, Qin Chuan calmly said, "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing."

But at the thought of the Titled Douluo secretly guarding Tang San, Qin Chuan's expression changed slightly. "Xiao Wu, let me give you some advice: you'd better not go out again. Stay in the forest."

The Titan Giant Ape beside them immediately brightened up at that.

He hurried over and said, "That's right, Sister Xiao Wu. Qin Chuan's right. You'd better stop going out. The human world is too dangerous."

"Er Ming, shut up! And you—why can't I go out?" Xiao Wu put her hands on her hips, getting a little angry.

As they pressed on, every Soul Beast nearby trembled and prostrated itself upon sensing the Scarlet King's overwhelming aura. Not one dared raise its head, let alone block their way!
