Background / History

Tang Hao is a famed Titled Douluo of the Clear Sky Sect. He disappeared from the continent for more than a decade, yet his reputation remained formidable: he had previously shaken several Titled Douluos and killed Qian Xunji, the former Pope of Martial Soul Hall 6 8.

His killing of Qian Xunji made him the target of Qian Renxue's personal vengeance. Qian Renxue states that she intends to collect the blood debt from him herself 8.

By the time of his later battle with Scarlet King, Tang Hao is burdened by old injuries and illness. Years of drinking and neglecting cultivation have caused his strength to regress, leaving him unable to overcome Scarlet King despite fighting desperately 38.

Personality

Tang Hao is fiercely protective of Tang San, placing his son's safety above all other concerns. He intervenes against Qin Chuan after the latter threatens Tang San, pursues Qin Chuan with lethal force, and later offers a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Bone to secure Tang San's release 5 37.

He is also decisive and ruthless toward perceived threats. Without investigating the cause of Qin Chuan's conflict with Tang San, he immediately attacks Qin Chuan and declares that no one can save him 37.

Star Dou Great Forest Pursuit

Tang Hao appears after Qin Chuan's battle with Zhao Wuji and easily repels Qin Chuan with a hammer strike 4. After Qin Chuan lands a surprise Mount Sumeru Buddha Fist on him, Tang Hao pursues him through the forest and deploys his Weapon Soul Avatar in an attempt to kill him 5.

Tang Hao abandons the immediate chase only after sensing unfamiliar presences ahead, though he still launches a final lethal attack toward Qin Chuan 5.

Confrontation at Shrek Academy

When Qin Chuan nearly kills Tang San after overwhelming Flender and Zhao Wuji, Tang Hao finally reveals himself and halts Qin Chuan's advance 36. He attacks immediately, but Qin Chuan uses Tang San as leverage to force a negotiation 37.

Tang Hao initially offers 100,000 Gold Soul Coins for Tang San's life, then produces a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Bone when Qin Chuan demands more. Qin Chuan takes the bone, while Scarlet King attacks Tang Hao over its connection to a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast 37.

Defeat and Escape

Tang Hao fights Scarlet King with desperation, using his Clear Sky Hammer Avatar despite his old injuries. Scarlet King overwhelms him and sends him crashing to the ground with a final claw strike 38.

Before Scarlet King can continue the confrontation, Liu An escapes with Tang Hao and Tang San in white radiance, taking both father and son into the unknown 39.
