Background / History
Tang San was separated from his family as an infant when Martial Soul Hall abducted him during Tang Hao's escape following Ah Yin's sacrifice. His twin brother, Tang Yin, remained with Tang Hao, while Tang San was raised within Martial Soul Hall. 1 117
He grew up under the name Yue Xiaochuan as Yue Guan's adopted son. Yue Guan and Gui Mei trained him to be obedient to Martial Soul Hall, while Yue Guan renamed his inherited Clear Sky Hammer the Heaven-Shaking Hammer. 28 99 117
At age ten, Tang San reached level 30 and acquired a third Soul Ring from a Diamond Ape. His third soul skill, Diamond Earth-Shaking Hammer, created a crater and spreading ground fissures with a hammer blow. 28
He earned a place on the Martial Soul Hall Academy team by overpowering Baker, then competed alongside Xie Yue, Hu Liena, and Yan in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. His public use of the Clear Sky Hammer drew widespread attention. 99 103
Tang Hao abducted him from Martial Soul Hall during the tournament and revealed that he was Tang San's biological father. Tang San learned that Yue Guan and Gui Mei had concealed both his identity and the true name of his hammer martial soul. He also learned that attaching rings to both of his Twin Martial Souls had placed dangerous strain on his body. 116 117 126
After leaving Martial Soul Hall, Tang San trained under Yu Xiaogang and Tang Hao. A 5,000-year Soul-Eater Demon Spider ring nearly killed him during absorption, but a ten-thousand-year Diamond Bear left-arm Soul Bone strengthened his body enough for him to safely absorb a 4,000-year Lone Bamboo ring and become a Soul King. 136 137
Tang Hao later sent him to Slaughter City. Tang San entered alone, fought through its brutal environment, and openly renounced the name Yue Xiaochuan when Hu Liena confronted him. By the time Tang Yin's Sea God trials were underway, Tang San had emerged from Slaughter City and possessed the Slaughter God's Domain. 139 141 179
He unsuccessfully sought support from the Four Symbols Sect to establish a sect of his own. Later, he departed with Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, Ma Hongjun, and Oscar for Sea God Island, but their ship was attacked by the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King; all five were swallowed. 180 192
Appearance
Tang San is described as more ordinary-looking than Tang Yin, but he visibly resembles Tang Hao more closely. 117 126
- Wore a white Martial Soul Hall Academy team uniform during the Elite Tournament. 103
- His Clear Sky Hammer appears smaller than Tang Hao's, though their forms are recognizably similar. 117
- His Blue Silver Grass became dark in Slaughter City. 142
Personality
Tang San initially trusted Yue Guan completely, treating him as a foster father and accepting Martial Soul Hall's guidance without understanding its motives. 28 105 Tang Hao's revelations left him conflicted and distrustful, but he ultimately chose to follow his biological father after realizing Martial Soul Hall had concealed his past. 117
He is determined and resilient in cultivation, continuing to pursue a breakthrough after his failed Soul-Eater Demon Spider absorption nearly killed him. 136 137 However, his resentment toward Martial Soul Hall becomes intense after learning his history; he regards Yue Guan and Gui Mei as enemies and refuses Hu Liena's offer of cooperation. 117 142
Tang Hao later warns that Tang San's unstable Slaughter God's Domain and mutated martial soul make his killing intent prone to losing control. 180
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang San possesses the Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass. Martial Soul Hall called the hammer the Heaven-Shaking Hammer to conceal its Clear Sky Sect origin. 117
- Clear Sky Hammer — Displayed four Soul Rings: yellow, yellow, purple, purple. 99
- Blue Silver Grass — Displayed four purple rings before later gaining a fifth purple ring from the Lone Bamboo. 117 137
- Limitation — Tang Hao states that cultivating and attaching rings to both martial souls overloaded Tang San's body, creating a risk of self-detonation during future ring absorption. 117 126
- Blue Silver Emperor restriction — Tang Hao states that Tang San cannot evolve his Blue Silver Grass into a Blue Silver Emperor because only one Blue Silver Emperor can exist in each generation. 117
Clear Sky Hammer Techniques
Tang San relies heavily on the destructive power of his hammer martial soul.

- He concealed these techniques while in Martial Soul Hall to avoid attracting suspicion. 103

- The Lone Bamboo's resilience made it compatible with Blue Silver Grass and allowed Tang San to obtain his fifth ring safely. 137
Slaughter God's Domain
