Background / History

Tang Hao was the husband of Ah Yin, a Blue Silver Emperor soul master, and the biological father of Tang San. After learning that Tang San had absorbed Ah Yin's Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone and awakened the Blue Silver Emperor martial soul, he takes immense pride in his son's talent and imagines Tang San restoring the Clear Sky Sect's glory. He regards Jiang Li—Tang San's master—as a useful future subordinate of the Tang family rather than as an equal. 10 28

Tang San rejects Tang Hao after learning of his actions toward Ah Yin, declaring that his only relatives are his mother and Jiang Li. Tang Hao nevertheless continues observing Tang San from the shadows and expects him to return to the Clear Sky Sect. 28 66

He seeks to bring the Tang Sect and its affiliated clans back under Clear Sky Sect control. When Tang San and Jiang Li refuse this authority, Tang Hao attacks the Tang Sect alongside Tang Xiao. Jiang Li and the Tang Sect's Title Douluo repel them, and Tang Hao ultimately abandons Tang Xiao's corpse to escape. 120 121 126

After returning to the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao attempts to reclaim leadership. His conflict with the elders escalates into a battle in which he accidentally kills Tang Lie, Tang Kai, Tang Gong, and Tang Tian through Divine Slaughter's Domain, Ring Detonation, and the Great Sumeru Hammer. He flees with Tang Yuehua to the Star Luo Empire. 147 148

In Star Luo, Tang Hao receives imperial protection and begins planning to rebuild a Clear Sky Sect centered on his own lineage. He and Tang Yuehua have a son, Tang Bufan, whom Tang Hao considers the future of his bloodline after giving up on Tang San. 153 187 188

Tang Hao later attempts to assassinate Tang San and seize the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone for Tang Bufan. He also intends to abduct Xiao Wu amid the chaos of the Soul Master Tournament, using Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer without regard for those caught in the attack. 209 245 246

Following further defeats, Jiang Li cripples Tang Hao's body and strips away his Soul Bones. With only Soul Saint-level cultivation remaining, Tang Hao enters Slaughter City in search of his grandfather Tang Chen, hoping Tang Chen can restore the Clear Sky Sect. 313 328 329

Bibi Dong later captures Tang Hao and destroys his remaining cultivation. He is used as a hostage at Jialing Pass, where Tang San publicly rejects him as his father and reveals that he has abandoned the Clear Sky bloodline. He is driven by resentment toward Martial Soul Hall, Jiang Li, and Tang San. This resentment repeatedly leads him to attack others covertly, pursue resources belonging to Tang San, and prioritize sect restoration or his favored descendants over personal relationships. 116 209 245
